  1. I gotta figure out what I am doing first....mainly getting a HU for it. I have a Pioneer DEH 3900mp that I will be able to use or a JVC KD-S690, just not sure which one to use yet. Already have a box built and already have some Knu Konceptz 1/0 for power wire and ground.
  2. Here is a video I found on youtube...ours is pretty much the same thing.
  3. Yes it is a 2 stroke. We actually got it from the dump, some guy dropped it off at the dump and said it didn't run....we told him to put it on our trailer.... All we had to do was empty the gas out, clean the carb and it was up and running. That mower will walk through some grass to, almost have to run to keep up with it and it will go through grass that is a foot high and not slow down. And yes we do have to mix oil for it...it is a true 2 stroke... I will start it up tomorrow and video it for you!
  4. Yeah I have used the zero turns before..... I love them but being 16 I can't justify spending 10k on a mower.... I might in time but just not now.
  5. Thanks Joe! Yeah I wiped it off. I spent 30 minutes trying to get it all off in the corners but everywhere that the damp pro is at I wiped all off.....around it might be dirty but underneath it is all clean!
  6. OK so I decided to go ahead and put the door pack in my truck, as mentioned I might be selling my truck and was hesitant to putting the SS in because then I would need to get more for the next vehicle. Anyways I know ANT wants the winners to post up pics and install stuff so I went ahead and did it, I know what he means by people never doing the review and such. I give away a good amount of parts on another forum to people and never hear back from them....pisses me off. Now before I had the SS Damp Pro, whoever was in the back seats found it to be VERY LOUD! (Not the music, but just the exhaust and road noise). Everytime we would take my truck my mom complained of how loud it was in the back and for me to hear her she pretty much had to yell. The install went pretty good, just having all the "hills" in my truck made it a PITA and all the curves. I had the perfect amount, only had 1/2 sheet left over so I filled in some areas and put a double layer in one small section. This is the first time I have messed with this stuff and it was hot as mess out *85-90* and very humid...took a few hours and when I got to the other side I was in a hurry to get done... Anyways here is some of the before pictures. Before Right side: Got some started... Right side done: Left Side Before: Left side started: Somehow I totally forgot to take pics of the left side when I was finished.... :censored: :censored:
  7. You are peeling the tan looking backing off right? (Im not trying to sound like a jerk or be funny...) I just put mine in and had no problems...and it is around 85 degrees and tons of humidity.
  8. Alright man sounds good. I appreciate it.
  9. Do you have pictures of it? Think I can get a harness for it... http://cgi.ebay.com/PIONEER-WIRE-HARNESS-D...2QQcmdZViewItem
  10. I just got a Sundown 1500d to power 2 DC level 3 12's. Wish I could say how it does but I literally just got it all in....
  11. Yeah if I put another HU in then I will keep the stock one. The system won't be in the hoe forever....just until I get another vehicle or decide exactly what I want to do. I would love to take my truck and do a wall in it but then again, I only have 2 subs and they are 12's....so still deciding.
  12. He didn't tell me anything but since it is mainly the family vehicle I gotta go through him first Wooden trains is my little bros...he is 7. Anyways I can't wait....still deciding on the HU/RCA's though. Might swap HU's for the one in my truck, not sure yet.
  13. I plan on going into Automotive for a living and if that doesn't do well or fails then I will go back to lawncare. I also don't want to get real big because in 2 years I plan on going off to an automotive school so I won't be able to do it at that time, but dad might do it for me until I get back. As far as snow goes....we don't get snow here in GA, lol.
  14. Thats why I don't really have employees. I can do it all by myself and not have to worry about that stuff. If something gets messed up it is my fault. I could take on about 12-15 customers and be able to do it with school but I would be VERY busy and might not do well in school, which that can't happen. I just keep enough to feed my audio needs, upkeep the equipment, and give me gas and spending money.
  15. I mainly do mowing, at least thats what I like to stick to. I will do hedges, pressure washing, clean out flower beds and do pine straw at times but I mainly like to do just mowing. I am thinking of getting into other stuff but haven't decided yet. Right now I only have about 8 customers also, I still go to school full time so I can't really take on but a few more because once school goes back I have a hard time getting them all done.
  16. I gotcha. I have been deciding between the Stihl 420 and the Echo at Home Depot. Might try the echo. I have been working with a company for the last few years and they have nothing but stihl (thats what made me go with stihl TBH). Never had any problems except with the new BR600 blowers which I think are crap....other than that the string trimmers I love. I work on all my equipment myself and plan 1 day a week just to check over everything and get it ready for the upcoming week and do any repairs if needed on anything. I also found that putting seafoam in the gas helps a lot on the 4mix engines. Does way better than the "Synthetic" oil that Stihl makes.
  17. Yeah I heard echo is pretty good also. I have always been using the freebies and cheap stuff that customers have given me over the years (I am only 16). I am now starting to upgrade everything, next up is a backpack blower though. Trailer is just a homemade trailer that we made a few years back.
  18. Ok guys for those of you that either cut grass for a living, on the side, or even personal use. What all do you guys use (Brand, model, ect) ? I currently use Stihl FS90R string trimmer (Just bought it 2 weeks ago, LOVE IT!) Homelite blower (Paid $40 for it about 5 years ago) Needs to get replaced but waiting since it still runs like a champ Honda 22" Self Propelled bagger mower Lawnboy 21" self propelled 2 stroke mower Craftsman 42" Riding mower Pretty much all the main tools minus hedge clippers, loppers, edgers, ect. I will get some pics tomorrow.
  19. Ok guys I am looking for a HU. Doesn't have to be new or anything. Just needs to have RCA outputs, and would love for USB/iPod hookup! I can't afford to purchase it all at once but maybe do payments or a "lay-away" plan?
  20. We was on vacation and we was going directly by his house, maybe 5 minutes out of the way. Mom didn't want to go but I finally bugged her enough for us to take a detour to his house but she wouldn't let me knock because of my safety....which I wanted to knock so bad!!! To go back to his house is about 13 hours....not doing that again.
  21. Alright I guess I won't be getting anything. After numerous emails I have received nothing. I have left a note on his door with my phone number, never got a call. I will keep talking with PP trying to see if they will refund the money but I doubt it. If he can go to sleep at night knowing he scammed a kid then oh well....just a low life. Pretty much SplPhreak just screwed me out of $225.
  22. the dude is doing nothing but scamming. Nothing wrong with leaving a nice note. All it said was hey, told who I was and asked him to call me. When I ran up to the porch my mom took a picture, wasn't their more than 30 seconds. Hopped back in the car and continued on with our vacation.
  23. Also if you just napped to be driving by an address that someone scammed you, wouldn't you at least drive by it?
