anyone have any input?

I drive a 2006 mercury mountaineer and have a dc lvl 4 xl on an audioque 2200. My current electrical is big 3 and a mechman 250 amp alt. I probably shouldve upgraded my battery situation a long time ago but now Im seeing a lot of corrosion on my negative battery terminal and when I turn on my car I see a large voltage spike (up to around 16v). I also occasionally see a few voltage spikes when Im driving also. Let me know what you guys think.

honestly though, only bad teams dispute, its what the 11th season? kids that think they are good but really arnt are the ones who dispute

not really sure what to do... but I would imagine that most people wouldn't help you because of your grammar. I would just take the bike to a certified tech. I cant image that it would be costly to fix.

thanks for the help everyone. so is painting the best mehtod for the plastic pieces? my friend refinishes guns with duracoat... is there any difference between them? maybe just paint the plastic pieces, and duracoat the roof rack?

do u know a place that might have a billet grille for an 06? i cant find one anywhere. i dont like my stock grille that much.

can i see a pic of this when u get a chance lol? how big of a circle do u have?

those do look sick. it says 02-05 though. mines an 06. it does seem to have the same shape though. do u think they will work?

can i not take them apart and paint the inside reflective silver piece black? or would it not work with the way that my headlights are set up.

theres my 2006 mercury mountaineer premier. I was just wondering what you guys would recommend for blacking it out. Im going to tint the fog lights, 3rd brake light, side turn signals, and tail lights with vht nightshade, but not sure about headlights yet. All the silver pieces seem plastic except for the roof rack. im also not too sure what im going to to about rims yet... i might just paint or powdercoat the stock rims for temporary untill i get new ones. I will also debadge the back of it. But anyway, what process would u guys recommend for changing all the silver parts to black. Thanks.

look fine to u? how can i fit 2 8 guage wires in one of those terminals?

i think i will just put a nice coating of resin in there, no fibeglass matt or anything of that sort. Is there no point in doing resin and no mat?

i have some 1" wooden dowells bracing in there. where can i buy resin from? home depot? lowes?

i have an enclosure that is 23" tall x 23" wide x 38" deep for 1 18" lvl 4 xl. My box has 45s in every corner and is also braced. Should i buy some resin and just coat the whole inside of it to seal the pores in the wood? would it be worth buying any fiberglass sheets or is that really just for strength and support. Thanks in advance.

the ground will be prolly like 15" or something... not too long, maybe even less. Ill have 1/0 knuconcepts fleks and i have a 250 amp alternator with stock battery up front.

i have an audioque 2200d amp. Say if i mounted it on the back of my seat, but rotated it 180 degrees so that the emblem would be upside down, and the power and ground would be on the left side of it rather than the right. Would this cause any overheating issues?
