Well it would have to be a clipped signal. I swear its impossible to bottom those bitches out. They just keep moving and moving. But hey, I think its like $80-90 for a recone direct from Orion. Thats better than kicker.

Thats what could save GM, but they are too damn stubborn. They keep producing SUVs at full tilt. We may never see the SS or Z28 thanks to their dumbasses. The only people who still buy SUVs are the ones who fill em up with 15s and 18s and lots and lots of watts.
Shoulda made a Chevy Prius that way I could drive a 09 SS. Guess I'll have to walk away from chevy in the next few years and become a foreign guy. I'll still die before I ever buy a FORD though. I'm thinkin orange though, but red is just as gorgous! -
All my finals were either projects or papers, so I don't have to go to any this whole week. I'm already out! Fuck college, school is for fools!!! This semester sucked ass and I'm glad I didn't procrastinate on finals like usual. Work full time starts next week. That gives me all week with no work or school to work on my car and finish the boat. Heh, heh, allright!!!

This has happened on two occations. One was a little $50 deposit for a paintball gun and the other was for a brand new couch we didn't want. (The store fucked up and delivered the wrong couch and said we could keep it, too bad it was super ugly) We put the couch in the paper and the first guy who called put down a $500 deposit on the couch. Came and looked at it and handed us $500 cash to hold it. Well, we said it was sold to like 50 different calls. We couldn't get a hold of the guy for about a month, and then he randomly calls and wants his money back. We had already spent it long ago so we said no but youcan get your ass over here and pay the rest so we can get rid of this sucker. Long story short, he came to our house demanding his money and threatened to call the cops on us and we said go right ahead. We ended up with $500 and reposted the couch in the paper and sold it next day. The paintball gun was the same deal, only less money and the guy was a complete druggy. Probably wanted the money to guy buy more weed or whatever. Keep the money, thats what a deposit is. Don't worry about law or anything, you should be in the clear to keep it no matter what he says. Its a deposit for cryin out loud! der. But do give him another week to pay for it and be sure to keep harrassing him about it. Squeeky wheel gets the grease. After that, tough luck. And resell it.

You blew an HCCA, I thought that was impossible. That would be a great question for Rusty. I woud send them to him if you've never reconed before. Mixing softparts can be tricky and something to leave to the professionals. I'm sure Rusty or possibly Forevrbumpn could recone them.
EDIT: Can't you order a slip in recone from Orion just for those woofers. Why go through the trouble? .

Get that box covered and get a vid up and going. Did you get those 1/0 terminals on ebay? I just used some that have the exact same rubber and I love them. Best ring terminals I've ever used. I could actually fit Knu oversized wire in them. Anyway, really nice. Do some more work! Also, is that box ON the seat?

Hell yeah! I'm not a drug kinda guy at all, but those nitrogen shooters were kinda cool. Everyone could use a shot of laughing gas here and there. Drugs are bad, just look at steve-o. It would suck to be his neighbor.

Sorry man I promise no more all caps, I'm a parts manager at a car dealership and my computer at work has to be on all caps to do shit on it lol so I usually dont change it. The sub actually fires at the outside of the boat right now because on the side pockets of the boat they are open into the engine compartment.
That is a terrible location for a sub, but if you have to. Just wondering why you didn't snap a pic of the sub. Looks great!

I'll get one for ya. This setup is a freak of nature. EVERY SINGLE PERSON who gets in my car tells me I should turn the sub around. And then I turn it on and their jaw drops. Trust me this setup works awesome, port seems to compliment the trunk and the sub reacts well with the cabin. It just seems to work really well. Always surprising people that its one 12".

By the way, I think you can use remotes fom autotek and hifonics as well. Its been a while but I think I used my autotek ATR-1 remote on the my friends amp same as you. I sold that on ebay long ago. I'm not positive but if so would give you a lot more options.

Yeah, that guy is a little off. He is subscribed to my videos too so he always has something retarded to say for every new video I post, but he does that to a lot of people, just look at his page. Freak.

Ported 3ft^3 with 45in^2 of port tuned to 40hertz and packed with polyfil. Really likes the low notes.

I love that box design however that is one design I have abolutely no knowledge on designing but there is no better time then now for me to learn how to design one! LOL
Also I should be working on the boat again early next week at that time I will take some pictures and post them for all you guys to see my work.
Forevrbumpn gave me the box design. If you really want it PM me and I'll show you how to build one to fit your sub.

I built a hybrid bandpass tapered T-line for my boat. Prolly the loudest a sub can possibly get in an open vehicle. Check it out and see if this is what you might wanna do.

Got A New Toy! Need Help From Any Subwoofer Builders.

Just picked up my new toy today. It's an 18" sub with custom softparts and Ground Zero Plutonium 15" motor with I believe a 4" coil. I think the motor is TC based but not sure. It has some tears and a slight rattle so I want a recone. Please direct me to someone who I can discuss in depth with about what I want to do. I would like to try DC but they don't build subs with 4" coils. Rusty if you can recone it let me know, and that goes for anyone else who can help me. Here's the pics.
