  1. dude, you probably shouldn't think about this anymore... just think... steve has his subs facing up and port back and what does he hit on the meter???
  2. How do you guys think Aeroports would work in a wall? Think it would be any different from a slot port? better/worse? Should this even be thought of as an idea in a wall?? Im just wondering and wanting others' opinions.
  3. RF>crunch. why the hell would he go from 2 perfectly good working T20001bd's to crunch amps??
  4. Wish I lived close to Cali. I would love to hear the Civic and the infamous Tahoe in person. Videos just don't do anything justice.
  5. I appreciate the input Bill. I have been researching every wall build I can find. This will be my first attempt at a wall and they do look tricky, but I'm determined to make it work. Plus, I think a civic coupe will be one of the easiest things to start on because the seats just pop right off and there is basically a table right underneath.... Guess I'm gonna go look for some more wall build-ups right now...
  6. yeah listen to chevyboy I'd go w/ a RF t20001 or t30001 before the MTX... I had a TA7801 before.. very powerful amp and I liked it alot, but it just isn't the best sounding amp... its sounded kind of choppy sometimes....
  7. of course. I've looked that build up, down, around and side-to-side at least 20 times.... I can't figure out how I am gonna bolt it down yet..... Maybe I should just ask the man himself... Or some of the other Ground Pounders around here..
  8. Dude...no Tahoe can be called a ricer. prolly has a 5.3L vortec or something close....
  9. anybody have a good idea of how to start the wall and bolt it down?? It will be built in the car to stay.... How would you guys go about doing this???? I definitely need some input and ideas on this so I can start drawing up my plans. help wanted!!
  10. http://cgi.ebay.com/ROCKFORD-FOSGATE-T1000...1QQcmdZViewItem check on ebay for more deals.... they sell em pretty cheap on there....
  11. sounds damn good man. wouldnt expect anything like that on a tahoe.
  12. http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-IN-BOX-Rockford-Fo...1QQcmdZViewItem cant go wrong with that man. excellent amp.
  13. 4 12" subs up port back will wang way harder than just 2 12's facing back... it's plenty of pressure to make the soundwaves hit the front of the car.. DO IT!
  14. I had no idea the DC's were that cheap... I would do them, but personally I really dont like the look of em and they haven't been around long enough to see how long the life span on them are.... I would do the FI's man.
  15. its for the whole sub, not each coil. rms=1000watts. it might take a little more, but it might not be good for it. I wouldn't do it.
  16. I'm planning on doing an Iraggi 200 amp alt w/ Kinetik 1400 under the hood and (2) kinetik 1800's in the back. big 3 all in 1/0.. the bd technology in the amp helps it from taking so much electrical power from your charging system... and this technology helps a LOT when wired at 1 ohm. They are a lot more efficient too.
  17. I am thinking this too.... I mean I could just get 2 dual 1-ohm subs and run each one off their own amp @ 2 ohms for almost $300 less... sounds like a plan, but i still do love the t20001 so I'm not positive yet on exactly what to do.... more suggestions/opinions fellas?
  18. Well I kinda am set on the t20001 bd, but they have some great deals on the Kicker ZX1000.1 on ebay... $260 shipped/each. So, I could spend close to $800 on one RF t20001 to run both subs off of or spend $520 on (2) ZX1000.1's and run each sub off it's own amp.... what would you guys do?
