    Okay I live in Indiana. We own our property and while there are two houses on the property it is not labeled a residential property, it's actually a commericial property. Well in summary, of all my neighbors there is one in particular that always calls the cops on me for having my music too loud. Most of the time my car is behind our privacy fence which is between ~50 & 100 feet away from the street. I believe closer to 100 feet. Whenever the cops come they simply ask me to turn it down and I generally comply since I'm not sure of laws and what I may be in violation of. Note though, that all of this occurs midday and never after 8pm and i believe its either 9pm or 11pm when my noise violation ordinance comes into effect.

    What's worse is another set of me neighbors constantly have parties and are leaving doors and windows opening and you can clearly heard the words inside my home, yet there isnt the bass that there is coming from my car. My neighbors have only called the cops on them once and they are closer than I. They just try to pick on my since I'm a kid (19). My dad actually went over there one day to see what they continually called the cops on me and the father attempted to have a conversation with my dad but the mother got into my altercation with my dad and shoved him off a 4 foot porch after hitting him with the door. She's around 250-300 lbs.. My dad didn't retaliate but did call the cops and nothing could be proven even though my dad had a cut above his eye from the door.

    So in the end my question is, what can they exactly cite me for if anything? I don't leave me stereo on for hours on end like my partying neighbors do, usually its 5-30 minutes when I'm tuning or trying something out with it. And never anywhere near full tilt.

    as for where i live the cops don't really give a f*%k cause it jus a report for them but as for working as a paid firefighter & dispatcher when i'm in the communications dispatching they can issue u a ticket and/or a fine for nosie pollution it starts around $25 and goes up to as much $250 here but u can get on the internet for ur area and see. I say f it and bump it.

    no where not hot heads it's just sum people r nosey and the first chance they know what u have in ur vehicle then next thing u know is ur shit is stolen i don't have time for that i work to hard for my belongings. Also i push unknown name brand items if it's good, shit those fi's r the shit i need to get a few stickers or shirts which didnt come with the speakers.

    So there's this guy at work that everyone hates and he's a total douche bag. He's old and thinks he knows everything because he's worked everywhere (i.e. couldn't hold a job for more than six months in 50 years). I could seriously go on for hours about him. He actually tried to argue with me about car audio at one point insisting that alternators have nothing to do with car audio.

    So being a nice guy, I invited him to listen to my MOJOs... My goal was to kill him. I was hoping the bass would crush his bones, but I failed. :lol:

    He curled up like a ball and screamed, then got out. I wish I had a vid... :(

    Thats what the F&^% he gets it's alot of old wrinkle dude that don't know shit beside waxing their car with Turtle Wax riding around with it all day long with the curb finders LMAO GOOD JOB :hairtrick:

    Good good, post some pics when you get it done.

    As for the caddy take out the backseats and throw a pair of Fi BTL 18"s back there :D

    or if you wanna be sensible a Fi BL 12" is a good sounding sub with some good power handling and one in a sedan does good things.

    Would love to pimp the caddy but my 3 daughters cant ride with me i think the misses just need 10 inch Q's. :01nocomment8so:

    You've got more than 40.5" wide. This box was in my 05 Quad Cab and it was 60" wide.

    And it was 18" deep and barely fit through the door. If you go 20" you'll have to build it in the truck. Or maybe squeeze it in with the door off.

    I would like to thank all u guys for the input got with a another i haven't heard from in 2 yrs. He say's hey man what u going to sound off this time I said an 03 dodge ram quad cab he said u know i still build enclosures i said oh hell yeah how much u want he say buy me a cordless de walt jigsaw(around $70+/_) and give me 100 for the box and we call it even so be it he starting the build this week end my only thing is he likes to use circle instead of the rectangle ports but we'll c after its done i trust him shit after all he still do carpentry work.

    Damn Chode, beat me to it by a min. :D

    As for your actual problem...there will be a lot of people on the site that know a lot more about building boxes than I do. I know you'll be able to knock it out though. As for common or individual ports...do one big main port rather than 2 sissy ports.

    I waited all this time to get my 18 inch fi Q's my buddy, friend, co-worker so called who did enclosure building custom car audio for a living for approx. 8 yrs till he got a sit back job (FireFighter such as myself i love that job) had me buy all these installation products (2-18 Q's w/BP $700+/-, 3/4 mdf $70+/-, More Power Wire-distribution blocks-wood glue/construction adhesive-screws,etc.) decide not take my calls or give me any help on this build. The first build we did was a slammer 99 ford explorer with 3-15's L7 subs up/port back toward hatch 2.5 day build due to rain and moisture came out good pounded roof caver. I've been installing for about 12-15 yrs out of my garage but never had to build an enclosure. If some can help I'm working with a 2003 Dodge Ram Quad cab rear seats stripped out need help with porting and enclosure here are the measurements 26 Height X 20 Deep(TOP PLATE & BOTTOM PLATE) X 40.5 Wide(LENGTH of cab) should i use a common port chamber or seperate the subs. I have tried the enclosure calculators but no luck I guess i should have taken algebra and not general math wanted to get my drink on in high school. If u can draw it up a rough idea i really would appreciate it. U can drop me a pm on here or @ [email protected] And as far as my buddy who is Pu**y Whip :censored:
