a hybrid basically. its basically a way of saying its a mono amp with a very clean signal. being that is what a class ab amp does. they produce a vey clean signal.

Is it too much to ask for a pic?
i sold the car not to long ago. there was a guy selling it on ebay about two months ago. ay still be there. its a white 99 with 3 12 inch btls and 3 tk3's and the whole works. i know there was a pic there. sorry though
-
doesnt always have to be CEA compliant to be good. sundown iirc isnt cea compliant but its a damn good product.
no buts its a good start to see if the are or not. it guarentees they put out what they rate. but sundow has a very good rep so that was the other example i gave
-
they still are not the same. its like asking if 2 and 5 are the same. class d is diff from ab regardless. its either one or the other not both
where did you see a class bd amp?
-
no prob. the subs COULD take a lil more power but it would work. i say just test it out and see what it does. if you dont like it sell the amp and get another
-
that would take a lil more time but if the never used it then more than likely it will work. they have to be charged and all. personally i wouldnt mess with the cap.
-
shouldnt take long at all.
-
no d circuitry and ab circuitry is two different things.
-
no it doesnt have to be in the truck. it should probbaly take like 20 min for all of it. just hook it to a battery. to see if it will power up and push the subs
-
a company with a good rep or
cea compliant is a good place to start
Class D amps have higher efficiency, produce less heat, and draw less current than Class AB designs. Class D amplifiers do have higher distortion than AB designs , but this distortion occurs at high frequencies that are typically removed by a low-pass filter. So a d amp is probbably the best choice for a bass aplication

I checked with powermaster, irragi, excessive amperage, and a few others. I might have to run a couple irragi 260 amps. Id like to just run one and not have the stress on the engine. Can anyone make a list up and possibly phone numbers cause i know i missed a few companys?
exactly what i did dual irragi 260's
-
yea just do a quick power and ground wire to conect amps. test the subs and speakers. same with the hu. just DONT put them on the amp. (Hopefully you wouldnt have done that anyway)
-
do more than one alt. i know your gonna say that your bay is too small. its not i did it in my cavi.
-
just ask him to show you it works. not realy a few hours. everything doesnt have to be permenantly intalled. just hooked to a batt to see if it works basically. if the guys worth a d@mn he should kind of expect you to want to see it anyway. personally this is the reason i dont buy used equiptment
-
ask to test it before buying
exactly. if he refuses i advise not buying it. he shouldnt have anything to hide.

putting 8 12s in a accord TRUNK is gonna be hell. if they do fit there is no way you will have adequate airspace for them. Wall that thang off and call it a day.
-
as long as everything works go for it. make sure you find out about all of it first considering its used. nice score on the rf headunit though
-
none that i know of thats worth anything. i say spend a extra 50-75 dollars and get something worth having
-
can get better for the price
-
darvex is the shit for elctrical needs. however i dont buy wire from there
-
i agree best forum ive ever been on.

just so you know its better to go through and dod it all right the first time rather than doing it overagain. DONT CHEAP OUT ON THINGS THAT ARNT WORTH IT

i know that the Phil Collins song is pretty poplar and i already have it. i wanna know what are some other songs that people have added bass to like that one.
