36 high is damn high just wall it and make the box straight up and down so the box is more square
thought about it. might end up doing a big square box and then make trim panels to make it LOOK like a wall at the end
-
^^^^thats what it rly looks like.
also seats go up alot more than they are in the pic
-
the slope isnt actually as bad as it looks in the pic.
-
i have seen best results from subs forward port up.
the front dont need to be angled that much does it?...
no the front doesnt. but that is about the angle my seats sit at though. the top could be a lil more deep though. atleast 4in
-
Looks good...but i got 15.3 before displacements. and after subtracting port(about a cube) and the 18s about .25cubes. you should be around 13.75^ft
thats with no bracing and w/o 45's
-
lvl5 18s.
-
48in wide
36in high
12indeep at the top
24indeep at the bottom
port is 28x6
tuned to 35hz
about 12cubes after displacment

RICE IT OUT. That is something I'm sure I will not do. Tasteful and necessary mods only.
thats whats up. a bud of mine had a yfz450 and it was fast as hell
-
it really depends on which one you will use more. if you get the civic DONT RICE IT OUT
-
anyone know where i can get a good set of projectors for a 03 s10. looking to install HID's in them also.
-
Yeah, but I don't have the money for one... All the materials for this box I already had laying around my parents basement... The cheapest one I found was this one, but I don't have an extra $300 + Shipping laying around... I also saw one somewhere that was like $1,200, that's just ridiculous.
yea thats crazy. didnt think it would be that much. but as far as building just make sure the box is sealed completely. use like some silicone or liquid nails to seal it. and woodglue/screws to hold it together. just make sure everything is dry b4 you put in the subs
-
if your not doing anything serious they make a prefab to fit in there perfect
-
thats actualy a few less than i would pay for fosgates. sundown is more than both. are they power hungary???
-
whats the price on one of those??? i was also interested in 2 sundown 3500s
-
the staples are actually a damn good idea
-
ive used rockford b4 i just wanted the rockford quality. and its 12 after bracing, woofer displacement and everything else.
im still not 100% sure on amps at the moment though. thats one thing i havnt actually purchased yet.
EDIT: also the fosgates are really easy to gain match...

Id lay some plastic down before you use anything just incase you ever decide to try and return the truck to stock
yep plan on it. i just dont know how ima get the plastic to stay in place. im guessing the foam will old it down when it finally hardens.
-
I'm guessing that 3 sides will already be sealed off before u put the foam in?? Then try it out first in a small area to get used to how much it truly expands, then just do it small steps at a time. That's how i use it anyways, i keep adding a smallish amount at a time.
What's the final setup gonna be?? amps/subs/enclosure/etc
2 lvl5 18s 12cubes tuned to 34hz and 2 t2500s at the moment. (eventually 4)
-
Roof maybe?? Like I said great stuff works pretty decently as long as u keep it under control. Because if it spills over onto an area u don't want it to, it's quite the PIA to get off.
its actually the area under my floor for my box. o yea and 2 18 will fit in a s10 excab with the 3rd door
-
the only thing i really need to fill in is an area about 4in high about 40 wide and 26 deep. also thinking about putting some in behind some of the pannels. would also like to fill my door in with it if i can get around to it.
