  1. mb quart has nice slim subs. you can get them for cheap too.
  2. thanks for the replies guys. i appreciate the input. those fi subs look pretty beast. do you think they'll work ok with my amp? it's a rf p500 btw. and what's the difference in those subs? i see a lot of numbers that don't mean anything to me. excuse the noobiness but i usually buy pretty much off the shelf stuff.
  3. found this and smiled. i loved mb quart back in the day. not sure i can wire it up to a 4 ohm load though. if i can i might scoop it up tonight, http://cgi.ebay.com/MB-Quart-RWE-352-15-14...3%3A1|294%3A200
  4. what's the word on pioneer subs? found one on ebay that looks promising. http://cgi.ebay.com/PIONEER-PREMIER-TS-W30...3%3A1|294%3A200
  5. the car is an 08 scion xb. as far as musical tastes, mostly hip hop, electro, techno and some rock. i'm all over the place.
  6. never liked the type r's myself. a friend of mines had a pair and i wasn't impressed. crap box had a lot to do with it as well. also, they look like ugly as fuck. i'm trying to make my trunk a little more presentable and with what i have planned 1 sub would be perfect. i just don't want to sacrifice volume if i don't have to. btw, sub size doesn't matter. 10,12 or 15 will work fine.
  7. not really looking to upgrade the amp. i don't have the birth sheet on hand but i know it was over 600 rms. i'm looking to spend $250 max for the sub, but if i can spend less, cool.
  8. so i'm currently running 2 10" diamond audio d3's in a spec box off a rf p500 bridged at 4 ohms. looking to change the set up a bit. i'm keeping the p500 but i want to use only one sub yet still be as loud if not louder than i was before. what i need to know is what sub out there will be able to do this yet still sound pretty decent. suggestions please? btw, first post here.
