I have a stock alt no big III with 4 gauge stinger with 60a fuse going to my back battery which is a shuriken bt-20 with a 8 gauge ground to the body. I have been having problems with my voltage dropping to 11.7 and sometimes almost to 11.2v. I dont know why my voltage is dropping like this when I only have a 200watt kenwood amp powering my 8 inch kicker free air sub. I dont have any 0 gauge for the big III but I have a ton of 8 gauge left. Any help is much appreciated. I just dont want any voltage drop.

yeah i think any flipout is sick. i have people ask me all the time about mine.

Maybe theres a fuse blown or something. If thats not the problem try calling pt and seeing if they can troubleshoot for you. Sorry if im not helping much I just dont have much expeience with any other brand then kenwood and pioneer indash tvs

If its a brand like that im guessing you should just groud the parking brake wire on the hu so then you dont have that problem with the screen saying engage parking brake.

what kinda headunit is it

Ive seen a ton that are bagged but the use gm front components cause there is alot more out there and the wheels you can use with the gm setup is bigger than the toyota setup. I would check with chassis tech ive had friends use their products and it cost them way less and they got the same exact thing for half the price.

Thats perfect, thats what i was going for but with 12 inch kenwoods x4 and a good 1-2k watt amp. what electrical upgrades did you have done to your jeep when you ran those 15s. I have an 8inch kicker in the add-a-trunk and it makes my side mirrors shake a lil.

what would you suggest for a jeep soft top with a box where the rear seat was

If you wanna run a second battery cuz a ho alt is too much money then put a 80a fuse in line with the wire from your alt or batt in front to the 2nd batt and your alt should be able to keep them charged of your running a smaller batt. Im running two batts in my jeep with 4 gauge and a 60a fuse from the front batt to the back batt and my alt keeps them charged just fine and my alt is stock.

I plan on using second skin luxury liner and maybe some damplifier lite or pro and im getting the body and frame all bedlined with lynati or rhino liner. My dad put a grip of some sound deadening under the carpet before he passed in 01 but i dont know what brand the stuff is but its metalic with rubber or some rubber like stuff between the two metalic sheets under all of the carpet but its attached to the carpet itself

I didn't say I didn't want cliff or planet audio. I just said i'd like to stay with those brands cause thats what came to mind when I wrote the topic. I don't know as much bout audio as you guys and you all know more brands then I know.

Does anybody have heard good things from the p1 and p2 10s and 12s and the kenwood 3012 or 3011 or the 10inch kenwoods 2511 or 2512, the boston G1 10s and 12s or any of the G-Series Boston subs 8s through 12s

I didn't say this in the 1st post, but I would like to stay with brands like Rockford,Orion,Kenwood,Pioneer,RE,Boston,MA Audio,MTX. The 500$ budget will work, but I would like to stay with 10's and 12's. What are your opinions on the Orion XTR PRO Subs the 10's and 12's.

I Have a 1998 Jeep Wrangler Sport 4.0L that has a Pioneer AVIC-N2,Boston 4x6 Plate Speakers,Boston CX-6 Coaxials,Kenwood KAC-428s 2 Channel 200 Watts,Kenwood KAC-526 2 Channel 200 Watts,Kicker 8inch Free Air Competition Subwoofer with Tube Enclosure, Stinger 4 and 8 Gauge Custom Wire with Fuse Holders and 80a and 60a Fuses. Stinger and Rockford Fosgate 16 Gauge Speaker Wire,Shuriken BT-20 Battery which is the same as the Kinetik HC600,Stock Jeep Wrangler Alternator without BIG3. I am a High School Student that has very little money to upgrade my system, but I gave up my backseat for a stealth subwoofer enclosure amp rack that will be built once I know what I will be upgrading.I want it to be downfiring due to the open air of the vehicle with the amps under the box by subs, but with the port forward towards driver and passenger. I just don't know what subs,amps,wiring,batteries,sub box,etc to put in my car. It is an open air vehicle and I want it to hit hard, but I still want to be able to hear the mid's and high's. I don't compete, but I want to be heard and maybe compete later on. I would like to spend around 300, but I can spend up to 500, but would rather stay closer to 300 and still be loud and heard by others while driving and bumping. All suggestions are much appreciated.

how much airspace for one rex8 sealed.

if i do ported i will do one rex8 on 200watts of kenwood power and i will probably use rex specs cuz they use 175watts and their boxes are half a cubic foot and that means i can run two of the rex8's and they will be downfiring.

Who has experience with the re 8s. Id like 8's cuz i have a inseat enclosure and i can fit 2 maybe 4 of the re 8's with the proper air space. i have between 1-1.5cubic feet of air space in the enclosure.

well i heard my homies 3 kenwood 12's 2 are the 3011's and one is 3012 and they are in a ported box i think the box is 5 and a half cubic feet and the subs are wired to 1ohm on a 1800watt kenwood at 1ohm and the hit hard and really deep. thats what i want is hard hitting deep bass but not for alotta money i will spend up to 500$ on both the amp and subs. but id rather stay cheaper becuz im in highschool with not alotta money.
