Ive got a 2500 if your interested
-
haha nice man whats next for his truck
3 15's!!! should be going in tomorrow
-
I would put my money on the 2500s, when I scope mine they give clean signal up to around 3200 watts at 14.4, but thats not clamped numbers.

sad to say when my btl 18 blew it was do to smaller box than specd and tuned to whothehellknows.
Which parts on the sub broke?
-
what was the first song? i had a fully loaded bl awhile back pretty beefy lil 10, then my brother inlaw got a xl10 lol
Its an edited some from a guy on there, i think his name is freekdesigns. its called christmas cannon
-
My buddy had a Fi BL 10 with an open lead on one side and a fresh rip in the surround, so we decided to play it full tilt till it lit up. It wired with one of the coils one a saz2500d at 1 ohm. It took it for a while.
-
Anyone that has blown a Fi sub, what was the failure point? I had 2 Bl 10s that both failed the same way, and I'm curious to hear if its the common failure point.
But lets not turn this into and its my fault it blew or a bash thread please. (but.. the final one was halfway my fault )

Home depot/Lowes has 4" pipe, just buy then full kit on partsexpress then get the pipe to make it longer. you will have to sand down the ends of the pvc for it to fit right.
or pm derrick on CACO, hes selling 4 6 and 8 inch kits, just tell him how long you need it

I'm doing my build right now. running both amps at .5 1 amp to each sub in a single chamber box. Should I strap them together? If so how do I do it?
I believe its called a daisy chain? idk but shouldnt be too hard, but i only have one saz3000 so not really sure how to do it.
wow, what a pointless reply..
its called strapping, not daisy chain. but what youll do is run your rca signal to the master, then run the signal from that amp using the BR OUT rca jack and connect it the the BR IN on the slave. then connect the negative speaker terminals on the master to the negative speaker terminals on the slave. the positive speaker connections on the master are the new positive speaker terminals and the positive speaker terminals on the slave are the new negative speaker terminals. I would strap then to simplify tuning.

any interest in an addictive audio 500.1? it does 5k.
Im interested in that saz3500 for a trade.
-
ive tested some in my car, its louder in the trunk, its to that hard to fit a 15 in the trunk either
-
why don't you build a setup for you and not just to beat out some other guy..
but if that kid is trying to put 3 15s in a single cab its gonna be a sealed box, unless he is cutting up the cab.

get a 9 volt battery, 2 long pieces of wire, a clamp meter, and a volt meter.
connect one wire to the neg of the coil and the neg of the battery, connect the positive to the pos of the coil and pos of the battery, set the clamp meter to dc current, and the volt meter to dc volts. get the current off the clamp meter, we'll call it "I" and the volts from the volt meter, we'll call it "V". now divide V by I and youll get R or your resistance of the coils
or a quicker way would be get a dmm and set it to measure ohm and itll pop right up on the screen,
and there is no "typical" box rise

see if it worked as an apple tv without the apple tv it would be cool now its just meh. and lets not turn this into an apple vs android thread.
i wouldnt be able to argue for or against either. only reason i got a droid was cuz i already had an itouch, haha

I like the new features that it brings to the iPhone, such as the change in how the notifications pop up, like text messages, before if you were on the Internet and got a text it would pop up over what you were browsing on, instead it's just appears at the top and disappears, such as typing this I received 3 texts and didn't get interrupted once
hmm.. my android phone has always done that.

Port up subs up in a single cab? I've never seen behind the seat in a ram single cab but if there is that much room that is bad ass!
port up subs up 12s in a single cab dodge just took home 3rd place in Kaos 1 in midwestspl finals, so id say it does pretty good
-
if its a ram single cab you should have even more room then that, i would keep it between 2.5 and 3 cubes for them, and also i would do port up in the center, with subs up on each side.

cut 2 rings to 13" diameters, cut one with a 10.95" hole and the other with a 12.03" hole (bigger if you want it to come out easier), then glue the pieces together.

anything inside the box will affect airflow

what about 2 mojo 12s with psi recones

I don't get it, Over a month later and your bumping a thread about $26 worth of stuff that you could have had from parts express WEEKS ago. Am I missing something?
1. i'm not in dire need of them as i have some temporary ones being used now
2. i'm super broke and refuse to pay 18$ in shipping for 20-26$ worth of ports from P.E.
3. BUMP (someone sell me some dusty dirt cheap ports you're not using anymore!)
thanks
oh and c-fizzy stop being lazy and find a frickin' shipping box i have money in PP ready!
hate to say it put shipping is gonna be pretty bad without going through them too, i looked at shipping one i made and it was around 12 bucks for one
-
Yes, they can be reconed with a drop in of a DC Lvl 6. or a T3 TSNS. or custom Fi audio recone, and so can many other companies can,
im wanting 240 for each. doesnt include shipping... and shipping this bitches are a bitch lol
most likely imma run them if no one buys.
according to rusty the lvl 6 is too big for the tsns motor.

so dc's entry level beats jl's second to top of the line on a burp form a 1k amp, but how well does the dc handle that power on music vs the jl?
Amp not drawing power like it should?

sounds like you turned a setting down and forgot about it. or if you have 2 subs wired in parallel you might have blown one when the batt fried.
