Ive got a buddy with 2 saz1500s, 300+ shipping each

you dont feel like giving up a few inches to get a bigger box in? just sit a little straighter. haha
-
box is tuned around 45hz
-
A milling machine would cost a fortune lol. I've done bus bars with a hand held drill and they tuned out quite well, I think a pillar drill will keep the holes straighter.
yea, buying one wouldnt be worth just doing one for yourself, but if you know someone that has one.
-
That's just what I want! I need a drill press!
drill presses are good, but a mill will make it alot easier on you.

made to fit up to 4/0

I personally didn't vote for her because her system isn't creative. I vote for people with systems that impress me, whether it be amazing craftsmanship, awesome numbers, or a combination of both. Neither of which include her system. It's awesome that she likes bass, but just because she's a cute girl that is dating an admin here, doesn't mean I'll vote for her. Now if she builds a badass box with a nice amp rack, I'll look at it. but until then, she's flying under my radar.
No offense meant, just thought I'd explain why I'm not voting for her, instead of just busting her balls. Figuratively.
maybe my post wont get deleted if i just say: This^^^
sorry it might have gotten deleted in the clean up or it had something linked to the clean up
its all good,
you should teach her some fiberglassing though, and do something like this
Nice separation, but needs more lift. Also, a bigger size. I don't like them too small, but yet, not too big either.
sounds like youre critiquing boobs, haha

Right now I have a DC 270xp alt on my 95 honda accord, a d3400 up front and 4 d3100s in the back, running a 5krms amp.
I know with my setup a VCM wont magically keep my voltage at 14.9 at full tilt, but Im having problems with dropping .3~4 volts from turning on lights, and the same when turning on the a/c. But my biggest annoyance right now is that alot of times the honda computer just decides to shut the alt down to charging at 12.5. Will the VCM get around this problem and override the cars computer?
research and see if your car has a ELD, I know some Honda's do, sometimes you can remove the ELD to help with the ECU not shutting down your altenator.
What is an ELD, and is that safe?

me wants a vented port too

Yeah i know, i actually tried a mold and ended up been a piece of crap haha, i always do the bowl process with a lot of sucess, i need better skills on the mold building, maybe you could build one and sell it to me???
all i did was get a base circle about 10" diameter, and stack 4 or 5 4" mdf circles on that. then i took different some small pcv pipe to start the radius for the flare, i laid down some bondo glass and used the small pvc pipe to spread the bondo and keep the radius, to get the 1" final radius i actually used a burnt 2" voice coil, haha
nice scores and love the box man
edit: how'd did you do at ft. smith comp or did u go? I wish i could have gone wife had to work and i had to watch my child
im not sure what was up at that show but my car was only burping a 48 and streetbeating a 45
Maybe the fact it was 115 outside might of had something to do with it, yet my truck was still loud, so probably your amp getting too hot.
and all the demoing i was doing. but the amps was super hot

I liked my mojo 12s when i had them, I smoked the coils and turned them black over a year ago, and they are still running strong, also still did over a 50 in the kick with the black coils.
-
well the 12s are rated 600 rms each.. so i wouldnt say 4 of them on 2400 is underpowering them.
-
but i heard 1" screws raise it by 3 DB
WTF!! stop giving out secrets..
-
I think so...subs are dual .7's
that would put him at .7

hi i recently got my hands on a sony xplod XS-L11037 and a sealed box but it had no screws to screw it into the box. i was wondering if anyone can tell me what is the right size screw i need. and im looking for an amp to power the sub it is 200 rms- 800 peak. anyone have any amplifier suggestions.
is this really a question?
pretty much any screw that is 3/4" or longer will work.
