dual 1 and the coils read 2.6?
-
I plan ahead and cut in an extra slot under the sub on the flush baffle, enough to help me get the sub out
-
hell if your one a budget sony is ok,
here are some vids for the haters.
single xplod 12 on 800rms before rise in an box made and thrown in the car the night before the comp
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GyUT6VtDNQg&feature=feedu
then trying to kill it for a good 10+ mins
poured water on it, put a few hand fulls of rocks on the cone and was still going.
lasted maybe 2 or 3 seconds on a wall socket, and the coil still wasnt blackened at all except for the part of the coil that opened up

what is your voltage with the car off?
-
wait, so you hooked it up for him?

I just heard a Ground Zero Plutonium 18" on two Audiopipe 3k's strapped with a 20 hertz box tuning, low end was good, but other than that everything in the mid range totally fell off hardcore, whats peoples reasoning for tuning this low, my BTL on 2k rms had a louder low 30s to high 30s range than this vehicle did.
Some ppl think its just cool to tune that low and loose all output about 30~35hz,
Some ppl just listen to super slowed music and think they need to tune that low,
Personally I like the super loud lows better than the pain of loud 40 hz music, but im smart enough to not tune to 20hz to achieve it.
some just wanna say, yea im tuned to 20hz
there are lots more reasons too most likely, but mostly ppl just dont know that they can get alot of the same output down low with a higher tuning,
It is good for hairtricks though..

sorry friotos prefer to keep it to a single 15. just me , and yeah capt i was wondering about them, i was looking but didnt know much on the ssa subs,
and willie id need pics and what not
thats cool, I think sundownz has a few of the zv1 15s forsale, sold as not working though so they may need recones, but i remembers those were made more toward sounding good.
-
Ive got 2 mach 5 ixl 10s, in think one is a fresh recone or maybe a few hour of play.

I just told them my make model and year, and they did the rest.
Ok that's really good to hear, that means all I gotta do is call them on monday. Now I don't gotta worry about taking my spring off to measure it and then having to put it back on..
when you do put the new ones on, make sure to have one person to help. it was almost impossible for me to try and do myself, then i got help and had it finished in no time.

I called a place called Springworks and got new rear springs for my 95 accord, I told them i had alot of weight in the trunk and would be adding even more, took them about 4 weeks to make them though.
I got them and put them on and with 4 d3100s, 2 40 lb amps, 3 sundown nightshades and a heavy ass box im still above factory ride height.
only problem i has is there rod they used to make the springs was such a larger diameter the spring looks like it wont fully seat down on the strut bracket, so a shop i had it at refused to do it, but then i decided to do it myself (actually a pretty easy thing to do), and they went in great, if you go this route you will need a spring compressor though. they are cheap though, only 35 buck at autozone.
also, the spring ends did not match the stock spring ends, so the compression makes in the rubber on the strut were off. and that is the way how-to videos tell you to line them up. the way i did it was to just leave the top of the strut still bolted to the car so i didnt have to bother lining up those bolts later.
I also have my stock springs i could measure, but i doubt they are the same measurements.
dang that was long..
edit, i just noticed your from cali, thats where springworks is too, maybe they are close enough to you to stop by. I think theyre in Santa Rosa

someone needs to make an xtranormal video about noobs like this.
Can i fit this in my trunk,

OK, ill do it anyway.

OH SHIT!!! running the Blue Light Dual Bandpass box!!! and even this door lock pop things light up, haha

I've seen this before. Why and where I can't remember. Still funny though.
it was from a song called ghost ride the whip, the music video had that stuff in it, then dumbasses started doing it..
I mean I've seen this clip EXACTLY. Not something like it, but this very same video. You'd think with as much stupid stuff is out there you wouldn't stroll across the same thing twice.
some ppl just miss it the first time and bring it back from the dead
im sure there is a thread from a few years ago with this video in it.

I will be amazed if it hits over 135 cuz the whole system cost me $400. How high would the dB's have to be to start entering comps?
you can enter a comp with no dbs, whether you win is different, and would bring on another round of questions too.

who would sells cheap meters?
