Yeah I think there is other factors involved too. 1000w shouldn't be a problem on stock stuff. How did you gain the amp.

Can I punch your boss in the face? I mean really just because that amp isn't from his shop he don't like it so its a POS? This is why we users around here always say YOU buy the stuff and YOU install it. We all know how shops can be. And I agree with the other few that said take pictures of the amp and the knobs.

3 dual 4 subs can not be wired down to .5 so you can not get 2000w from that amp. You need another sub to wire down to .5.

What car do you have. Your taking a HUGE jump into this which is usually a very bad idea.

since the subs are 1000 rms and the amp is 2000 rms like rebel said they will get 366 each so they will be underpowered Yup, can't wire them down any further unless you get another. Hell even at .5 still under powered with 4 subs. At .5 with 4 subs you will see 500wrms per woofer.

From what he knows right now I think it would best to take it slow on him, no need to go all nuts with upgrades and stuff. Plus if he wired that amp down to .5 I believe those pioneers would smoke.

I can not find any specs on that amp, I even went to their site and I still couldn't find it. Where are you seeing its rated .5? I need to know what coils your pioneers have.

The amp does not determine the ohm load. The woofers do. You divide the power the amp has to offer at the ohm load you want across the 3 woofers. For example if I had 2 rockford p2 15's at 250wrms a piece and I stick them at 2 ohms on a amp that does 500w at 2 ohms I will get 250wrms per-woofer. From what I found this amp can only do 4 and 2 ohm but not for sure. What coils are on the pioneers you have?

i use RF website to view the wiring diagrams lol but yeah just wanted to know what terminals to use but now that i know im ready to order the DC well not yet like in a week or two With my current amp I'm running just 1 pos and 1 neg on the amp for 2 woofers. Seems like your ready to go. but you got the subs wired to what ever set of ohms you want the amp to give out... man i didnt know it was that easy haha i was having a panic attack hahaha but yeah thanks man Yup, I have SVC 4 ohm subs so when I wired them both together I got a final load of 2 ohms.

so you can choose any terminals as long as your sub is wired correctly either to 2ohms 4ohms etc... & i dont have the sub yet but planning on getting a dc lvl 2 8 Yep. What coils are you getting on that 8? That amp does 300 at 2 ohms.

It's a mono, just use 1 pos and 1 neg or just wire the subs to each one. Doesn't matter as long as you wired your subs correctly, the amp doesn't determine your ohm load. Also what subs do you have and what coils are they.

There's your problem if your head unit is actually putting out the 8v.

Not for sure on the eclipse HU but some say its 8v or 5v but that is everything at max where it's clipping and crap.

as stated: I already have them just lying here. Thats what gave me the idea. I build computers out of my house for a side job- main job- I work in a flower shop XD XD pics of my machine anyone? already considered +5 for being an intelligent person I would like to see some pics, but anyways, why not just sell the Corsairs and buy a real plate amp? I wouldnt do it to be honest, that is just begging for something to go wrong. Just my 2 cents, feel free to burn your house down though There's really nothing that can go wrong unless you wire the + on the - or do something stupid. And plus the PSU's will shut off or the breaker will trip before anything.
