    Was he suspended for something that was labeled illegal by the California athletic commission? Again, you still have given me the 1 other fighter that gave Silva problems. Im a "nuthugger" cause I like the way he fights and puts people out? I do feel that the fight was stopped early, but lets be honest. Sonnen was not going to get up and would have just took more damage then needed.

    California athletic committee? Wouldn't it have to be the NSAC to even remotely matter in their fights?

    Nobody has given Silva competition, but then again, nobody has really given anybody any competition in that division. I would love to see Silva vs Sonnen over and over again cuz even if Silva gets a lucky break to win, Sonnen still makes him look pathetic every time.

    How do you know Sonnen wasn't gonna get up? If that's how the ref handles things then Silva took an unnecessary amount of damage fight 1 and the ref should have stopped the fight. Want the strike count somewhere WAY in the triple digits (around 300 IIRC) to ummmmmmmm, 10?W

    You know that even if you didn't stay they would have had to pay you right?

    That's why you need to take pics when something like this happens.

    You can try telling them and they might pay you. But next time get proof (pic of time and your place of employment) and they'll pay you. IIRC you're entitled to the days pay if you show up and nobody is there to open the store up.

    I'm going to keep that in mind. They could also check the security cameras, there are two at the front door. But I really doubt they would

    Yeah, I don't think they'll check for you since that'll cause then to lose money.

    But yeah, just keep in mind in case it happens again.

    I know a Guy that works with an upholster at a shop. He is gonna redo my seats on his spare time.

    I got 2 hides of leather and 4 stingray hides for about $700. I'll post some pics when I get back from work.

    Each hide is about 50 square feet, so I should be good with one hide for just the seats and imma use the other one for miscellaneous parts!

    And yeah, I'm in LA.

    So its coming out to like $1k for everything? Material and labor?

    I drive out there pretty often. A whole lot more to do out there than where I'm at.

    The thing is that two top 5 players and a top 20 player got together to form a super team. They SHOULD win every season just based off the talent they have, with no teamwork. I believe it was either Jordan or Magic who said after "The Decision" was all done, that they would never have done something like that. You would not see Magic, Jordan, and Bird join forces to form a team of that caliber. I know that some people argue the Boston Big 3 and they did the same thing. But lets be honest, all three of them were and are at the tailend of their careers. Lebron, Bosh and Wade are in their peak right now. What the Miami Heat did was made basketball wack for a long time. All thats going to happen now is that other large market teams are going to try and make super teams like they did , and make it very hard for the small market teams to try and compete. You are going to see 3-5 big teams and nothing else.

    Why does everyone keep talking so highly about Miami's Big 3?

    They are one of the most inconsistent Big 3 in the league. This last series alone had a couple obvious showings. A game or 2 Lebron had to pretty much do it on his own, then Wade did it on his own, and Bosh it pretty much just there to help clean up.

    EDIT: No, I'm not hating, I'm actually glad that Lebron finally got his ring. Just baffled that so much people say it's cuz he basically cheated and got into a super team or something to get that ring. He's been putting it all out there since the day he got in the NBA, he just never had anyone to help him get things done. Like someone posted, no big name has won a title without having their duo or their Big 3.

    Looks interesting, hadn't heard of Bullrun till the show.

    Pior to that I only knew of the Gumball.

    I watched it last year on youtube from SuperSpeedersRob. He participates in it every year. Must be nice having the money he does, working for Gotham Dream Cars LOL.

    I've heard of Gumball, but dont remember what it is exactly anyway.

    Basically the same thing, different name. Haha

    It's really called the Gumball 3000, cuz it's a 3000 mile race.

    I'm going to see the Guy today, let me ask him how much he would charge to do your split bench and Ill also ask him about the carpet & headliner.

    You looking for original or custom work, cloth or leather and what color?

    I chose to get the material myself because I was looking for a specific color.but I can ask him for a prices with and without material if you want.

    I just want my interior to be red leather and the headliner probably just regular cloth material in red too. I want my car too have blood guts.

    Saw it on a BMW and I haven't stopped thinking about how clean it looked.

    His GPA isnt even close to top of his class I'm sure, but football is the reason he got the scholarship. Ive never seen him play football but in pictures he is smaller than his dad...So he must have alot of heart. :rolleyes: I think he should say thanks but no thanks...he drives a car more than that...say thanks for noticing my accomplishments...pass the scholarship on on to a less wealthy individual who is just as hard working. He gets good press and another individual gets a chance at succeeding. 2 birds one stone.

    His gpa is mid level when it comes to scholarships. I had a 3.8 in highschool but the absense of sports made it impossible to get any kind of scholarship. Not that I wasn't active...I raced Motocross..snowboard..surf...skate..stand up jetskis and tons of other stuff but not any school sanctioned sports.

    True about the GPA. But then again, football players tend to just like to "get by" when it comes to grades. But you're right without football his grades probably wouldn't have got him anything.

    And I hope the thread doesn't go wrong.

    And everyone goes crazy.

    So apparently Justin Combs, son of Sean "Diddy" Combs, got a $54k merrit scholarship to go to UCLA based on his 3.75 gpa and his footbal abilities and now people are giving him shit for it just because of their financial status. People are going as far as saying he should give it back.

    I personally think it's bs. That's basically saying that just cuz Diddy is worth approximately half a BILLION dollars, Justin can be awarded for his personal accomplishments.

    What do you guys think?

    I am not outraged and congrat to the kid for having an awesome GPA. Hey you worked hard you got good grades while playing sports, regardless of who your dad is that is a feat. As for the money I think he should honestly tell the school to give it to someone who actually needs the financial assistance. Hell, we all know is college education and the rest of his life is paid for just off the name, Combs. Take the acceptance to a great school and let another deserving student get a monetary scholarship. The simple fact that he was offered a paid scholarship means someone else who deserves it and needs it will miss out on it. This is not to take away from what he did because again he did and congrats to him for it but he really doesn't need the money Papa Diddy can stroke a check for any obscene amount and laugh it off.

    One of the few articles I read said something about it not affecting another students chances at a scholarship or financial aid since it was a merit type award.

    But that is was of the only valid point people are bringing it up.

    Just seems wrong for them to try to get him to give it back since he's the one that worked for it, not his dad.
