I think it's just that his shop, like many other don't carry DC.
So that means that the employees aren't very educated in companies like those. Most shops around my area will talk to you about the companies that they carry like if it was the back of their hand, but if you bring up a company that the don't carry, like DC, FI, RE, and so on, you get them to put a WTF look on their face ASAP.

Yeah, I've seen some really nice looking Lexus' that still have a sporty look to them.

It's a fun car, a very big difference to the Pontiac I had before it.
I fell in love with luxury type car like that the first time I drove my Jag.
It's just making it hard for me to do things to it, like system wise and things like that.

no the only thing they do is there is some company you can mail your ecu to and you get it back in about 2 days... but i would rather not go sending it off

I just got a Jaguar not to long ago and I'm pretty lost with all the things in it....It is very different from an American car.

I think a CAI and Exahaust would be the easiest way, but you can Chip your car, add a better ignition system, and if you're willing to spend alot of money you can do a Turbo Kit, Supercharger, or a NOS system in your car.

I would say do it if you are getting LED's.
IMO if you did them to stock housings with regular bulbs it wouldn't have enough power to shine through the paint and still be decently visible.
I think it looks really sick if you do body color...

No not on this one, didn't join the forum until it was already built. Looked almost exactly the same as yours though. Just cut a hole around the three that are there now face the woofers and ports up and you should be good.
Ok then, well thanks for all your help, I really appreciate it.
Once the build gets going I'll be sure to try to get a hold of you if I get stuck somwhere since you have experience working on these types of cars.

We cut everything out up to the wiring harness since its tucked away. Remove the cover on the top to make sure there is no wires but there rarely is there. Make sure to cover the gas tank and have a fire extinguisher ready just in case.....You want the hole as big as possible. Mine is 2 12's and the hole is big enough to fit the box through. My cars a lot bigger than yours but my lexus was about the same size, you get the picture.
I'm pretty sure I get it.
Do you have some pics of your install from the inside though?
Or do you have a build thread I could look at?

Plenty of room, the wiring harness will not be a problem just cut the deck around it and as big as possible. My Benz is just like that and I had a lexus with the same thing. Build the box up against the tank and have the woofers fire up ports up.
Do you think I should cut into the wholes that are right there already or cut around the wire harness area?

I was thinking about cutting into the car from the holes on the inside of the trunk, but I don't know if that would be enough port area, or if that even leads to inside the car.
And I'm not sure if there are wires in between the trunk and under the hard plastic behind my seats.

That two door looks nice and it would look great blacked out, I just don't really like the whole lift and big tires on suv's.
But if you like it and its better for you financially then you should get it.

I bet the guy is serious about his question and he doesn't need those kind of answers.
Well on to the question, you need to wire your woofer differently.
You can check on rockfordfosgate.com or 12volt.com (I think that's what the second site is called, not sure though)
But check on those site and I believe its calle the "Wiring Wizard" that should help.

OMFG, I can see why...... USE A DAMN BLUETOOTH!! your not god, and despite what you think, you CANNOT pay attention to the road while your on the phone having a leisurely conversation like your sitting at home on the couch.
I honstly don't see why people really think a bluetooth makes being on the phone while driving so much safer, cuz it doesn't, all it does is make it legal.
The problem is that you're distracted not that you don't have both hands on the wheel.
