I'm looking at getting a single cab truck soon so I'm sort of planning ahead, and personally I think a blow-through would be best, but I don't know if you'll be willing to cut your truck up a bit for a bigger sub box.

IDK all i know is that if i see a cop i turn it down and make sure he dont hear me...plain and simple.
Yeah, I started putting my music down after I got my ticket.
-
not if they make it a law they did that in cali for people that were street racing and they did the same thing now they are doin it for us bass people.
but hey this guy is more crazier though
Yeah I know about the street racing but that's kind of understandable cuz if a person gets hit by a car going about 100+ mph then I highly doubt there will be any survivors, but taking people's cars for having loud music is out of hand.
And that is one crazy neighbor....be carefule Meade :shot:

I think it is the whole Cell Phone Service Vs. Wi-Fi, because all of the people that have posted saying they're using the iTouch aren't having any problem and the people saying they use the iPhone say they have a somewhat slow connection.
-
50 really you guys got it easy in jville fl its 25ft no db minimum and in sarasote they are thinking about after 2 or 3 tickets they impound and smash your ride bunch of conservative dicks well i'll save that for later
Wow, can they really smash your car? I understand the whole impounding thing, but there has to be something illegal about smashing someones car.
-
I use my iPod touch some times and I don't have any problems when I do. But I think it's different since I'm going off of my wi-fi and you're going off of your cell phones reception. Try a spot where you have a lot of reception, that should speed everything up a bit.

I think the "Amlified Sound" law is everywhere (I got a ticket for that in CA), but I think it really depends on how the cop is acting or if you piss the cop off, cuz I've heard of people that only have their stock speaker getting tickets for that. So pretty much the only way to avoid that ticket really is not to test out the law.

most the times, companies dont actually fix them their selfs. They contract out a repair facilty to do the warranty work.
I know when my kenwood crapped out on me, I contacted kenwood and they told me where to send it. I forgot the place I sent it to, but it was in PA i think and wasnt an actual kenwood repair center, just an authorized repairer, and it was free of charge just pay shipping there deal.
The thing is that I'm not sure if mine is under warranty, do you think they would charge a whole lot because of that?
-
What model is that? I have one just like it, mine is a Clarion Max675vd, I havent had any problems with it but if I did I would send it to Clarion to fix, for me when I bought it I got a 3 year warrenty with it, so all it would cost is shipping to fix.
It's that same model, but I bought if off of my uncle over a year ago and I didn't bother to ask about it having warrenty or not. So that's why I'm trying to find out what all of my options are.
-
no, they will just charge you for it.
Otherwise check http://www.pacparts.com/ (i think) they sell parts, but dont think they do repairs.
Id call the manucactur of the radio otherwise and see who their authorized service center is..
You may also try to contact united radio and see what they say if they can fix it.
Its probolly easy to fix yourself if you got the parts. But depending on what it costs, and what you paid for it, you maybe better off getting new.
Thank, this really helps since it gives me a few different places to check and compare prices.
-
But wouldn't it need to be under waranty for me to go to Clarion?
-
Yeah, mine had the touch screen too. Well thanks for the help, now I guess I'm gonna be at the for sale section looking for a new In-Dash and compare prices to how much it will cost me to fix it.
-
About how much do you think that will run me, because I feel like it's a very good stereo and it still works and everything, the only problem is that big crack.
-
I got in a car accident not to long ago and somehow my In-Dash's monitor cracked (that's the pic of it). I was woundering if that was fixable and if it is, where can it be fixed?
Single Cab Truck
in SPL - SOUND PRESSURE LEVEL

It was worth a try lol....yeah, I read that somewhere too but I'm not sure how much space you would need either, but since you have a single cab I highly doubt that you would have enough room if you face the port towards your seat unless you have bucket seats and you do the two 12's then you could do a center port, but if not then try the upward port or like the other post said (the one after my first one) try external ports.
