  1. no a blowthrough is out of the question lol although seems really interesting. I am really set on either 2 12's or a solid 15'' and dont know on which way to have the port face.. i heard you should have at least 5 inches between port and anything it will hit? not sure if that is currect though.

It was worth a try lol....yeah, I read that somewhere too but I'm not sure how much space you would need either, but since you have a single cab I highly doubt that you would have enough room if you face the port towards your seat unless you have bucket seats and you do the two 12's then you could do a center port, but if not then try the upward port or like the other post said (the one after my first one) try external ports.

  2. not if they make it a law they did that in cali for people that were street racing and they did the same thing now they are doin it for us bass people.

but hey this guy is more crazier though

Yeah I know about the street racing but that's kind of understandable cuz if a person gets hit by a car going about 100+ mph then I highly doubt there will be any survivors, but taking people's cars for having loud music is out of hand.

And that is one crazy neighbor....be carefule Meade :shot:

    lol

  3. most the times, companies dont actually fix them their selfs. They contract out a repair facilty to do the warranty work.

I know when my kenwood crapped out on me, I contacted kenwood and they told me where to send it. I forgot the place I sent it to, but it was in PA i think and wasnt an actual kenwood repair center, just an authorized repairer, and it was free of charge just pay shipping there deal.

The thing is that I'm not sure if mine is under warranty, do you think they would charge a whole lot because of that?

  4. What model is that? I have one just like it, mine is a Clarion Max675vd, I havent had any problems with it but if I did I would send it to Clarion to fix, for me when I bought it I got a 3 year warrenty with it, so all it would cost is shipping to fix.

It's that same model, but I bought if off of my uncle over a year ago and I didn't bother to ask about it having warrenty or not. So that's why I'm trying to find out what all of my options are.

  5. no, they will just charge you for it.

Otherwise check http://www.pacparts.com/ (i think) they sell parts, but dont think they do repairs.

Id call the manucactur of the radio otherwise and see who their authorized service center is..

You may also try to contact united radio and see what they say if they can fix it.

Its probolly easy to fix yourself if you got the parts. But depending on what it costs, and what you paid for it, you maybe better off getting new.

Thank, this really helps since it gives me a few different places to check and compare prices.
