  1. Hey guys I have a slight problem but I have no idea what it could be.

I checked the powers and grounds on my big 3, powers and grounds on my rear batts, amps, everything and nothing seems loose or corroded. Charged my batts and issue still persists.

So here's the thing, when I turn my car on and have it sitting my voltage is good, when I'm driving my voltage is good, BUT when my car is in gear and and I'm at a stop my voltage drops into the mid 12s. It does that even if nothing is on (stereo, light, etc)

What do you guys think it could be?

  2. My dad has trucks similar to the TransStar, WorkStar, LoadStar (Internationaltrucks.com) with flatbels, but I'm not sure how a car would get on there. Not tilt bed. And I'm not sure how much he would want to do that.

Why not rent a car hauler at U-Haul?

its not a car its just the interior. complete interrior though

As in seats, dash and headliner?

Like things that can fit in the bed of a truck?

  3. Sealed up, in kick drivers side. Port to passenger side. No testing with this box, heater in car on, all seats fwd, back seats folded down just did this about 30 min ago.

his is on music, not to bad for a daily setup of 2 10s @ 33htz

    System:

    2 10" Skar Audio VVX's

    3.25^3 ~33htz W/ 6" Aeroport

    Skar Audio SK-1500.1D @ 1 Ohm

    Pioneer AVH-3200DVD

Single C&D 100AH Batt in trunk

    141.34DB in a trunk on music @ 33htz

Looks like you're shoes are gonna enjoy your music at 141.3db. How about you though, numbers at the headrest? Or at least on dash since that's a little closer to what you're listening to.

On the dash it did a 141.08, no pics of that tho.

That's more like it, and that's STILL a good score. Don't know why you guys decided to meter at the kicks.

I would take a pretty embarrassing score before I proudly post a kicks score.

Im going to do some more testing tonight at both positions and see what I can come up with

Kick should always be better. But dash and headrest are personally my prefered numbers because theyre more realistic. Good luck, I'm sure you'll improve. And you had a good starting point so you shouldn't end up disappointed.

  6. It's not that we don't *want* to help you, its that we just don't have the time to do it.. To do a dual setup on a vehicle like that, we would need the vehicle for bare minimum a week, most likely two, and secondly, the man hour's involved to PROPERLY develop a dual alternator bracket for a one off vehicle is extremely cost prohibitive.. Between conceptualizing, designing, test fitting, cutting multiple versions, trips to and from the laser cutter, and all the things involved, your looking at an average of a minimum of 40 hours.. Most people just have no interest in paying $4-$5k for a one off kit because to actually pull it off and for us to break even or make any money at all, that's what it takes.. We've designed a ton of kits here, and based on doing it many, many times, that is a realistic amount of time that it takes..

So, as I said, it's not that we don't want to do it or help you, we just don't have the time to do one off work like that, and making bracket kits is NOT easy to do, let alone to do RIGHT or inexpensively.. Can it be done cheaper, possibly, but there is ALWAYS someone who will do it cheaper, and trust me, we are usually the ones who end up fixing it..

Well there goes my plan too. =[

  7. It's funny how people's responses to threads like these change depending on who the person that started the thread was.

    Like?

Off the top of my head:

Twisted posted a vid of a cop being called on him and everyone was talking about how much of an asshole he was an all.

and EXO posted a vid of him purposely going to someone house to blast him music to get back at the person for sonething that happened prior to that and EXO was "cool." Or the persob deserved it.

I'm not saying its ever right, all I'm saying is it should be the same no matter who posts somethibg like this.

Oh and it's funny how everyone is alway all of a sudden model citizens that never bump cuz it's illegal. lol

I can see your logic, but I can also see the gaping hole in it. Where was Twisted? Was he in his neighborhood with homes close to each other? Was he...being rude to residents who do not wish to hear the bass? Also, NO ONE is trying to be a model citizen because it is illegal. We are saying not to bump in residential areas. And my position has been the exact same regardless of who posts, just saying. And the most annoying thing, when you bump in said neighborhood and then are confused abotu having cops called. Too much? Maybe, but how do you rob a bank and then get mad when the cops arrive? Noise violations are that, regardless of how loosely the law is written.

Out and about is one thing, but in a neighborhood, I do not see why. My system is almost always turned down to 4-5 on the headunit, but turn it down to 1 when going through neighborhoods. It really isn't that difficult or holy as you think it to be.

I know in at least 1 of Twisted's videos he was in a driveway.

And nobody's attitude towards neighbors was mentioned so that is somewhat irrelevant.

I know where you're coming from cuz I also tend to drive playing at real low volumes, but we both know that's only a handful of us. That's why I try to avoid commenting about how we shouldn't buml in residential areas. And most people that throw money into their system usually takes advantage.
