i was thinkin cover vent opening with piece of mdf and adding aero ports ( seems easier)........but the dimensions of the box are preventing me from doing that because the ports would be too long. But i like your idea better, but dont know if it would be easy to accomplish

here is a pic of my box, i used to have my RE SE 12 in there and it sounded beautiful. but as you can tell i never really thought about port area when i ordered my DC. Obviously the port area is way too small......do you guys agree??

i got 16 sqin total with two cubes...... i was thinking of covering my vent with a small peice of mdf and adding an aero port with more port area....ya know what im sayin

thats what i have now with 2 cubes...... vent dim. 13 H x 1.25 W, tuned @ 32hz. Do you think i could some how throw an aero port in there to get some more area?

ok thanks guys... im not a beginner when it comes to car audio, just wanted to know a safe level, i've always ran my subs about 200-300 rms over their factory rating and havent blown a sub yet, so i must be doing something right..... but thanx again

i plan on buying one soon (12") ..... i want to put about 1200 rms to it daily, whats the max rms you guys have safley ran to one??
