  1. Thanks guys. Fosgate: Im not sure what you mean by how im going to seal it..? Decaf: Mostly because I went back and forth with him a couple times adjusting depth, he wanted it as shallow as possible so I saved myself a headache and just snaked it on one side rather than worry about mounting depth And I got it structurally done today, carpeting within a day or so (just need to get to parts express) Baffles mounted along with the port pieces attached to them.. Top on..

  3. Hey guys, this enclosure will be for a local's pair of 12" JL W1's Specs come to: -3.95 cubes net -30hz tuning -60.125 sq inches of port Getting to it.. More as it happens..
  4. Wow it's been a while due to waiting on suede. I got it all wrapped up though, probably will have another enclosure build (or 2) started tomorrow Wasnt perfection with the suede...but wasnt horrible

  7. Thanks guys And yea, I rent out a bay that Im slowly turning into a nice shop...but a long ways to go before it's what I want it to be. More done.. Other side.. Mounting dowels.. Not the most progress but im not too rushed since he can't pick it up for a few days...should be done by thursday
  8. Lol, thanks. The baffle will be double-layered and the subs countersunk...may also have vertical supports, but the sides and back are rock-solid

Alright, this enclosure will be for a pair of 18" RE MT's getting plenty of power It comes to 5.6 cubes net and will have an interchangeable port wall a lot like my old enclosure to test out different port setups. It's nice and shallow to keep under the window line for SS No-Wall...hopefully you see a gain, Rob Getting started.. Some pieces cut.. Side put together.. Back put together.. Back going on..
  10. Thanks guys. I knocked down the edges on the port pieces but I just moved to this shop and havent even seen my router bits anywhere, so knocked down the corners with sandpaper not the best but not terrible Got the top put on today and it cleaned up a little...still a little sloppy..need to clean it up more tomorrow and then the suede can begin.. And again, the overhang will get taken care of as well.

  13. Painted.. Everything going on.. Other corner insert in.. The other inserts in.. More possibly tonight..
  14. Moar.. Port pieces going on the face.. Quick look at it.. Filling in screw holes.. Sanded down..
  15. Alright, got the double-layered baffle made with both the mounting hole and countersink hole cut out tonight. Didn't want to put it on immediately because I wanted the glue to dry where the sliver's of mdf are glued together (the pieces held together by the two smaller clamps) Countersink hole cutout.. Mounting hole cutout.. A quick look at them.. Glued + screwed together.. More tomorrow
  16. Port's 45 degree insert in.. Other 45 degree insert in.. Mock-up of the 2nd.. Was also doing a bunch of work for the shop today...tons of legs for workbenches being lined up and made More tomorrow
