    Thanks. Im ordering 1 of my subs today. Ill prolly start on my box next week because i got a car show this weekend and im going to go ahead and get the best of my subs now then take them out.

    If I double baffle the front, would I just subtract .75 from the second length of the port making it 21.75 inches long?

    The outside dimensions will be 48" wide, 33 inches tall, and 13 inches deep. To get around 16 inches of port per cubic ft, i would need the port to be 4x32 then the length?

    Im gona do a wall that is 8 cubic ft. The port is gona be 32 inches wide and 4 inches tall. What would the length have to be to be tuned at 33-34Hz?

    Glad to hear your back man. Im getting ready to start ordering my subs tomorrow. I can only buy 1 sub at a time. When its all said and done, ill have 4 level 4 12s in a wall. I cant wait.

    Camino, I was gona get SEs, but i talked to Rusty at DC audio, and ive decided to get DC level 4s.

    Im gona be ordering 4 level 4 12s for my ranger and put them in a wall tuned to 34 Hz with 2 hifonics 2000ds. What yall think about this setup?

    I no ive switched around on what subs i want but i decided today. Im getting 4 DC level 4 12s instead of the RE SEs or the level 3s. Im also going to get 2 hifonics 2000ds for the amps. I will only be able to order a little at the time, but ill post pics of the equipment as i get it. Im gona go ahead and order 1 12 tomorrw for a start.

    Dont forget to round all the ends and put 45s in the corners. Thats an awesome looking box and should get really low.

    Well i talked to Rust at DC today and i changed my mind and im going to get 4 DC level 3 12s and run them on a AQ or sundown 3500d amp.

    Maybe we can all meet up somewhere at the show and meet each other. I wish i would be able to have my system done by then but i wont have the money to get all the stuff, but im still going to hang out.

    Well thanks to James on this forum., he designed me a box for the 12s. Its 6 cubic ft tuned to 34Hz. Let me know how yall think it will do. To me, this box looks like its gona be bada**. Ive never had a port up top so im ready to see how it sounds.

    Ive been reading on here a lot about the Audioque amps. They look awesome and from what yall say, they will put out the recommended watts and then some. Instead of 2 ED nine.1s, do yall think the AQ3500d would be too much for the SEs? I may get this amp if i can sell my nine.1.

    You are correct. I like the look of 4 subs and i can get the SEs for fairly cheap.

    I meant cvx. HAHA Im hoping to be able to do the :hairtrick: when i get done but i dont know it will happen. I want this box to drop real good lows and still be loud.

    My buddy has 4 kicker crx 12s in his camaro with 1 kicker 1000 amp. Will my 4 RE SE 12s with 600 watts a piece be louder than his 12s? He says they wont be but i think they will be.

    I believe i will give them 600 watts at first and if they seem to take it pretty well, ill upgrade amps and give them around 900-1000 watts.

    O ok thats cool. Then what ever space is left above the box from the ceiling, ill put some trim panels to seal it off.

    How big you think the box needs to be James? Prolly around 8 cubic ft after port displacement. What kind of design do you have in mind?

    Do yall think this setup will be louder than my 2 15s? they had 600 watts each. I hit 145 with them in a 6 cubic ft box but im not sure what i hit with them in the wall.
