  1. he has older xxx subs and no those ones arent 2k rms each

they are 1500 my last post was a typo

well if he mentioned that it wouldve been more clear at first, well now id say 1 saz 3500 is the way to go

  2. I cant say all i know is that with gain set at half with stock 105 amp alt and Brand new stock type battery voltage drops like crazy. I would expect to get at minimum a ho alt and a few larger audio batteries seriously. I could out up a vid of my system if you would like...

that would be nice if u can, but u should upgrade to new batts b4 u do the alt....if u look at my sig, the 2400/800 should keep you around 14.5 volts, but drop to 13.6-14.0 when bass is played, which is still very good without having a new alternator

  3. What's the problem? You have the money for 2 XXX's and it seems you are not willing to buy two amps. The subwoofers are 2000 watts rms each. So two of those sundowns would work.

lol, thats what i was saying, but at first, i thought he didnt buy them yet lol

  4. ur gonna get about 1300 watts to each (assuming you have good electrical) so it will be loud, but they wont reach their potentials. At least u wont be overpowering them. Why not get 1 RE XXX? 1 would be louder than 2 in this case

  5. Woot!

Haha, but its gonna be a few weeks till i do the setup...no car now =[

nice man. give us a good non-biased review of it once you get it going. like power output on your car's voltage, etc.

these things are still kinda new and i know its very underrated but give us some actual real world numbers.

    thanks and great purchase man

Thanks a lot man, I definitely will let everyone know, I am hoping it exceeds my expectations, cuz this is the first time Im gonna work with Sundown. I know fosgate as being one of the best (All my friends use it), so im hoping this will be better, def hoping to get 2500+ watts outta this. B)

  6. I was excited when Crump-T1 told me my amp came today!! Heres some pics, just for eye candy, hit me up later to see how it powers the BTL.... I also bought candles me and the amp can have sexy time tonight.....hi five!

Cannot wait till I hook this up :D

  7. Your voltage should be 14.2 to 14.4 if the batteries are charged and the alternator is working.

You should get a MLA module or find a how to thread on upgrading your voltage output of the alternator to around 15 to 15.3 if you don't want to get a HO alt.

    Also what type of vehicle?

It would be a maxima.....but if the alt is close to the batt, ill prolly consider doing the big 3

  8. alot of dj programs have it, say you got a song thats recorded at +5db you can go ahead and normalize it to 0db or lower if you'd like and most of the time that will take care of the clipping in the song unless they just totally screwed the song up, nero verison 6 had a wave editer that came with it that had this option to adjust the normal db level of the song and you could play song watch the meter on the said to see if it went above 0db, if it di then aka it would clip at that point

FL Studio 7 does that, but it is hella expensive. You can download it on torrent, but idk if you want to risk copyright penalties. Audacity just checks for clipping, but it doesnt fix it, but audacity is a free legal download.
