ok so its fixable.. i just dont want to try removing hte dust cap and destroy the sub i know its not a hard job to tdo but i just dont want to wreak anything in the process of doing this lol

i looked havent found anything its inverted right now so ill have to pull it out and look closer at it last time i looked i couldent find anything or anywhere where it was comming off the cone

its not the coil its the dust cap or something under it hitting it or something ive heard coil rub... and its deff not that lol

should i be worried about it destroying the sub? sounds friken horrible almost like bottoming out but... its not lol anyway to fix it?

alright ive got 2 10s left and one of them has a noise ( it has had it since day one just never this noticeable...i did tell rusty as well) at about 3/4s or so of excursion it sounds like i get lots of lead slap... but it is not that i tried holding each lead by finger when playing and it didnt help put ear to pole vent and sure enough te noise is comming from under the dust cap when i 1st got it i notices if i pushed on the dust cap it could make a "click" noise when pushed wheni mean pushed it wasnt very much at all i dont even thikn it moved the cone at all eather what could it be?!

well if i go the 15 or bigger route it will be subs up port back if its 12s it would be subs and port forward and sealed off from the trunk as well

ordered it about 2-3 weeks ago

a buddy ordered a fully loaded SSD 18 and hasnt heard anything back and has been emailing and with no luck hes been waiting quite a while now i think its stuck at the boarder but not positive so does anyone have Fis number?

i do have hte room for them but they would have to fire up and port to the back not sure how well that would work out what about 2 18s sealed?

well.. im getting away from my 4 10 set up looking to switch it up but not sure what i should really do just yet ive got 15 tall 36 wide and 31 deep to work with if the subs are on the front 13 1/2 tall 31 deep and 36 wide if the subs on the top for power i have 2 audiopipe 3Ks 2 12s firing forward? 1 18 sub up port back? or some other set up?

which box are you talking about the bandpass? if so i had fallen from ROE help me out on it all i know is its tuned to 32hz and 105hz it plays from about 28hz-80hz pretty "flat" as well

13 tall 29 wide 31 deep if i went half an inch taller i thikn the subs would be hitting the trunk springs when they really get movin

only room to fit 1 baffle and still have enough air space for the subs!! and yes.. yes he does! haha

front looks like it sits up higher then the rear?

will once its nice out again! bigpimpins le my beat pound really gets them moving when it drops to about 11 hz hahah as well as a few other songs for such little power its still pretty loud

thats only 500 rms to each sub! but in the other box they take about 6000 to all of them no problem without unloading so all is well on more power then that as well

i need to get a vid of it so you can really see these things move

wellll....threw the old box in and tuned it to 29 hz to see how it sounded.... sounds pretty good for a low tunning ive never tuned under 32 befor this is just a temp. set up till my other amps back got a buddy to take some pics for me... i think i was getting some pretty goos excursion?! didnt get many good pic other then these 3
