so.. im board and want to rebuild... the shell in my truck for wall is solid, so ill be swapping baffles.... right now my port is along the top of the wall.
should i redo it how it is now and just make everything rounded ( its a VERY basic wall now.. no rounded corners anywhere inside)
or center port top to bottom?

Normally they name them like a major brand with a slight difference. And they are always junk like rockwood instead of kenwood or rockford fosgate.well dont "off" brands usually just copy stuff?
dont think you caught on to what he means

deadening hardbord isnt necessarily a good idea because a CLD is inneffective really on wood. the whole gluing the hardboard to ur roof thing may work but considering how much more work it is over a proper CLD like damplifier pro i wouldnt look at doing that out of the gate
worked fine for me.. its not very much work at all..
-
mine still fit, alot has to do with your car tho.
-
if your roof is somewhat flat... 1/8" hardboard is your friend.. cut to rough shape of rood.. put LOTS of PL glue on it and hold it up on roff for an hour or 2 ( use a jack for stedy pressure ) then deaden over that and youll be good..

Wheres the rest!! Slacker!!!

Make sure you sand the paint off before glueing.. And use alot of glue.. Also, if its your first time using PL glue WEAR GLOVES... If you get it on your hands youll have a hard time getting it off.....washing your hands makes it even worse as the water acts as a "accelerator"

Pl adhesive if you can flex a solid wall of 2x4s attached to the sheet metal you're doing something serious
What N8 said, depending on what truck you have, you May have enough room for a layer behind the box and it will make the back wall "flush" with the window frame delio
I have 2 layers of 2x4 and 1 maybe 2 layers of MDF for my back wall... And im waiting for my back window to fall out lol... Fix the back wall flex before you break the window free
