Oddesy 2150s Alot of SPL guys run them and charge at 16v I have 2 in my truck charged at 15.2 for a few months no issues
-
I was gain matching my 4500s tonight.. Didnt turn volume down while going to next amp, grabbed allen keyband had my other hand "grounded" to truck... Got a nice little shock haha
-
IIRC you will only have 1 wire going to your stock alt, which is a switched 12v wire, You could splice into that to turn your 2nd alt on
-
3db.. not sure about that.. is it possible? yes.. will it happen.. probly not
-
i know it doesnt gain match, shoulda been more clear on what i planned to do in first post lol
-
the DD-1 doesn't gain match.
the DD-1 doesn't gain match.
It does not, but, set your gains with the DD-1, then from there use a DMM to match them to the best of your ability to keep them as close to unclipped power as you can.
thats what i would have done, did it for the pair of amps strapped, took lowest voltage and set both amps to that, but no access to one for a week or so
-
So, unstrapping my amps today, will be needing to gain match them. Amps are 4 sundown saz4500s will be at .5ea ( yes, i have the electrical) Dont have a DD1 no locals have a DD1 What voltage roughly should i be looking for? Yes, i know this doesnt eliminate clipping.. Thats not what im aftet just need to gain match

i can play music just as loud as i can burp.. before my unloading issue i would use lil jon- push that nigga and could do a 155.1 havent been able to really get a decent number with new woofers tho.. its alot louder tho!

drill holes at end of crack, weld it then build the roof, use some 1/8 hardboard or if its flat some 1/4" MDF the thicker the better

it wont hurt your car butttt if you shift into nuetral before you come to a complete stop you can snap the shift linkage. as ive had it done to one of my cars due to an asshole friend driving it smh
Yeah....no It cant break the shift linkage Its no differnt then shifting into park when you park your car. It wont hurt a thing unless you go past N and into reverse while still rolling at like 5mph Then youll start breaking thingS
I've done that at 30 MPH once on accident... my car just said fuck you and I started to spew tranny fluid at the bell housing. 1350 dollars later best believe ill never do that again... but anyways back on topic I've shifted into neutral at lights, traffic, ect. Pleanty of times with no problems.. yet.
was it an older car?
alot of the newr cars will either shut down or not shift
