i used welding cable...
i had a 6" section left.. i used a torch on it for a good minute to see if i could melt it.. no dice.. tried getting it hot and rubbing the jacket off... no dice
i ran it next to my headers on truck.. about 3/4" away and have no issues

my trucks bagged, i can hit front tires on inner fenders.. and when fully aired up its over stock height! it wasnt bagged for "show" but for the weight

his truck has a leveling kit on it already, the rear is usually 2 inchs higher

almost of times, those settings will clip the preouts which then goes to your amps.. and you basically amplify clipped signals
