  1. Here are my Soundstream Doors Soundstream TRC Components x2 sets in the front doors. Plain door, the wife and I decided not to cut up the door other than the stock speaker location where I originally had a set of these surface mounted and the mounting holes the new pods are going to need but those will be minimal. Sounds Great! They do require some more sanding before they are ready to paint but the are pretty much done and fit the doors very well. I may tweak them a little more for an absolute fit but they're close. Enjoy!
  2. Buddy of mine runs two AQ HD3 aluminum coil 15's on 4 AQ 2200's (and clamped over 8k) with no problems.. other than the spiders have loosened up which is bound to happen at 8k with two subs at 35hz. Not that I would suggest running that much power lol just saying he is and he's beat the crap out of them like no other for over a year.. running 30 second extreme runs and 3min chaos runs in midwestSPL. 4 10's would be sick on 8k for sure!
  3. Could run an AQ2200 to that thing all day and it's a great amp for the price. I did a build for two of the hd3 15's on 4 AQ2200's and let's just they seem to like it lol. 2 AQ2200's per sub might be much for daily at full tilt but have been very impressed with the reliability at that power per sub. One AQ2200 would treat you good
  4. Thanks everyone, I do appreciate the compliments I live in Missouri. The box was made for some older model Kicker comps with the cast grills, not sure exactly what year or series for sure. Will try to get a picture with the subs and grills installed soon. My co-workers son that I made it for is prolly out driving/bumping so maybe this weekend if I can grab one last pic.
  5. Was on a tight deadline and was really trying to get a round port in the box while maintaining all of their needs.. First off they wanted to keep the cast kicker grills (not pictured) and second they wanted to keep the box under the rear deck and as close as possible to the back seat which kept me from side porting it or otherwise. Doing the ports like I did were not on the list originally but was trying to keep it basic (obviously that didn't happen lol) but all in all it turned out well and was only 4 hours late on delivery. Actually... they wanted me there around noonish so I could enjoy some free food for her sons Bday (which is why the box was made for his Bday) but I was still working on it after 3pm then rushed over and still enjoyed some free brisket and he ended up being a happy camper. Made this 16 year old pretty pleased! (just got his license today!) I work with his mother and she knows that I do this on the side so yay finally got some more work. Didnt get to clean the inside up like wanted (smoothed out with filler and rounded corners etc) but oh well (ran out of time for too much detail), it'll never see a competition and bumps quite well as it is. Enjoy!
