Its nothing spectacular and i dont expect to be able to run in 49.9 but, 2 of em did a 143 on a linear mic, so im guessing thats in the mid 30s on a TL. 2 more 12s and another amp..we shall see..

Steve just to throw a bone.. I keep getting a IPS server error page when trying to use the search or jump forums sometimes as well.. Didnt know if this was a glitch or something you needed to know about regarding last night.. its been going on for the past 3 or so days.

I should be at this one for sure.. My brother runs/owns Gotvinylonline inside the green entrance, ill be at his booth when not with my truck. Josh's Explorer will be done by then as well, but hes more of a SQ install..He can always run 29.9 tho. ill be in 39.9 or 49.9 depending on what the final numbers end up being after my other amp shows up

that amp looks like a alpine knock off from a few years back. Didn't alpine have an amp that was V12? And looked nearly the same?
I thought the v12's were black with blue writing...

Pin 85 ground
Pin 86. Remote turn on
Pin 87. Ground
Pin 30. Light green pk brake wire

Im doin an istall on my friends explorer. We have the unit(pioneer avh-p4100dvd) in and wired. the unit is sweet except for the Parking Brake wire. I have looked on the 12v and tried looking for wiring diagrams but i cant find out the wire color i need for it. Vehicle is a 03 Ford Explorer, without factory amp.
Does anyone know what wire im supposed to tap into, i dont want to damage the unit, or better yet is there a way to bypass it so teh screen will play movies while in motion?
I tried search but kept getting a IPS server page...

I like it, the build, jus not the vehicle.. sumthing about em just aint for me, yours is really clean tho,and the install is super sik!

I always thought tests should be in real world situations.. like go on a run with teh EMTs and SHOW you know your shit, not just answer some question some over paid fatt ass make up while scratching his ballz and day dreaming of his secretary instead of his 350lbs wife at home..

So every body has that one car/truck/what have you that they spent all that money on, had just the way you wanted, had the newest shit, and HAD TO SELL IT!. Knocked up your girl, DUI, Divorce...whatever reason post it too.
mine was a 95 S-10 that i built when i was 18 in my garage all by hand, with help only to lift the bed on and off during re-halfing and paint. That was almost 12yrs ago when she had to leave me.. Godamn X-wife

I wanted to take a moment and express my gratitude for this Forum. You see, I'm a 30yr SEVERE Manic depressive/Bi-polar sufferer, along with the one lung thing and other health issues. I am a professional Tattoo artist and it has my heart and soul, but recently even my art hasnt kept the good days out numbering the bad, until i decided my truck needed something to listen to and stumbled upon SMD googling one night.
During the past 6 or so weeks i have been out of the bed and in the parking lot..haha Im doing my build, (along with a friend or two's)in my Apartment complex parking lot/renta-garage, and LIFES BEEN GOOD! Running the extension cord 150ft everyday for power is so worth it!
This isnt the first forum ive belonged to or been active on, but i will say its been the most laid back and helpful. Im not new to car audio at all, but shall we say out of the loop...big time... My last system was over 8yrs ago and things have changed so this place has been a wealth of catch-up for me, and a place to keep my mind busy when i start feeling down.
Im not trying to be a net-kiss-ass or anything, i just wanted it known that its not just about Car Audio for some people, and that we(I) APPRECIATE THE WORK it takes to keep it goin..
