  1. ok now for a helpful post.. I looked for my cut sheet, but no luck..

I have a Sierra, so from the past 4 setups this is what i ended on that i personally was the happiest with.

If iirc about 20-21in depth is all i could squeeze and the seat still be in a comfortable position(im assuming this is daily)but i got some long ass monkey arms.

If this happens to be your case i would suggest doing subs/port up.Ill have a SU for ya in a few. I would also not go any wider than 62 1/8 unless you want plastic parts rubbing holes in them selves on the side of your enclosure. if your loosing the interior panels then disregard..

Are you trying to stay under the window line? If so, after my shelf got in i didnt have 24in tall, more like 20.I used the rear seat belt bracket holes to bolt the shelf down to have a solid base to secure the enclosure.

Heres a few pics of my junk..but it does do 143@43hz on 1500w rms.

Sacramento Cali is always looking for new tatt artists, I know this because they pop up everywhere . Within 1 mile, I have about 4 tatt shops by me, along with about 3 strip clubs- literally, about 1 mile from me, and I live in the nice part of town.. lol

but sorry to hear about your relationship, that is always hard

Thats good to hear, cuzz ive had David out on the hunt for me since he got home

call some places around cincy/northern ky. i know of a few good reputable shops that would be good for you to work at. i'll PM you their numbers

Read PM, thanks, ive actually been to 2 of those shops

    Good call, i love google

  3. Well, many of you may or may not know, but my girl of 6 yrs and i are in the process of splitting ways. This will leave me somewhat homeless, no place to call mine. What that means: Im going on a road trip! I have met so many kick ass people on SMD and have gotten numerous PM's about tattoo work, then Davids arm build log seemed to kick it into overdrive.

What im thinking is maybe setting small groups up all threw the US and making my way from one to the next for a few months and, tattoo convention style for private clients.

I already have conformations for Miss. and Nor. Cal. with lots of inquiries from So. Cal. and lower western states.

What i need from a possible client:

I will need a set minimum of people at every stop.

I will need a minimum $ amount for every tattoo

    JUST FOR EXAMPLE!

    5 people at a 300$ minimum

    10 people at a 150$ minimum.

I will need a clean open environment to work in with a good light source and seating( and NO your kitchen aint clean)

    Internet access

Depending on the amount of clients at each locale, i will also need sleeping arrangements handled by the hosting parties. Whether you all chip in on a hotel room for the slotted days, or have a couch at your crib.

Since my base is in Columbus Oh. i will travel at my cost the first 425m.(approx 6hrs drive time). After that anything up to 12hrs drive time will need pre-paid at 2$ a gallon. Anything that requires a fight or longer than 12hrs of drive time, the clients will be responsible for the entire cost of getting me and my equipment there. With my pricing structure being no where close to the 100$ an hour rate that the US averages for tattooing this is only fair.

This what potential clients need to know about me.

I have been tattooing for almost 15yrs(yes im 30 i know)and have worked at MANY studios/street shops/parlors over my years. I have done the grunt work and the typical "flash" tattoos feel that those type tattoos really arent for me any longer. If you just want your kids name in 1/2letters on your wrist, go to the local shop and get it at a fair price, dont spend 500bux getting me there and ask for a 50$ tat..

I do carry a nationally recognized, OSHA blood-borne certificate, as well as First Aid and CPR. I have also received my Hep B series vaccinations, at my own cost to ensure a a safer environment for my clients and ME!.. I dont want that shit, im sure you dont either!

I use 100% disposable items when i travel. Im not lugging my 150lbs autoclave all over gods green earth, and we both feel safer when you see me throw it all away when we are done.

I get rights to any and all pictures! I mean that too, if you post it on your facebook, im gonna snag a copy, just how it is.

Im not responsible for anything, just like when you go to a studio, and you will fill out paper work that agrees to this and proves you of legal age to get Tattoo'd. In my state, 18 is legal, so that will be the rule when i travel..18-ink,under 18 not a chance in hell..

My work is on myspace, and Davids arm log and speaks for itself. This is an opportunity for you to have a 100% original custom work of art, if tattoos are your thing. This isnt for everyone like i said, and is something i dont expect alot of responses too in a series manner, but if it is something you want to make happen, please contact me asap.

    Thanks

    Lung

  4. I find this soo amusing and not in the same way others in this thread are... Steve does do very high quality installs and is very loud, while still retaining all seating area/below the window line. But he is just that, a regular guy that does high power/high dollar installs and happens to film everything he does along the way. I might not be the biggest fan of some of his setups, but I'll be the first one to say that he does do great work because there is no denying that.

But he is not this high and almighty figure that some of you have appointed to him. He doesn't do anything that breaks records or is incredibly ground breaking that no one has done before. I'll say it before and I'll say it again, right now he is the face of our hobby and sport regardless of who likes it or doesn't. He's been very successful in getting his name out there with his build talents, vids(featured on ROE back in the day), and then his site.

By no means am I hating on him(read above, i gave him tons of compliments), but I'm sure many of you will take it like that.. I just can't take seeing all the time here that everyone thinks Steve is sum sort of god.

Hopefully you don't take this the wrong way, but if you do I'll see you guys after my vacation.

Wow, talking about reading into sumthing to much.. It was said to be sarcastic, just like Steve says on his youtube..B ecause hes Steve and thats what HE wanted to do..It doesnt make a damn bit of difference who HE is

  5. I like the smaller tire! When u drop the front that shit is gonna look soooo nice mang!. Not that it doesnt, but the squat is really noticeable now.. Did your Kuhmo's track with the road like a sombitch? I had the supra712's on my old Mr2 in a 215.40.17 and it followed every slight crack in the road.. Went to 205/40/17 Nitto's and never had an issue again.. The truck has still got Gpa 15's so i wont even comment on its ride..lmao
