  1. smaller port = increased air velocity (might help when trying to pull off a hair trick)

2 L4 15"s in a Cherokee might not be enough to pull a proper hair trick.. you'll need a wall if you are really looking for one imo..

because of the flared ends, aero's tend to flow more air.. and they help to reduce port noise as well, so you can get away with using less port area with aero's..

  2. My old SPL setup consisted of 2 Audiopipe 15" subs powered by a pair of Sundown Audio SAZ1500Ds.. best score with that combo was 151.6dB on the Audiocontrol meter..

i eventually damaged one of the subs, note how they are moving in this vid.. :D

my daily box.. a Pioneer 5000SPL in a 2.4cu.ft enclosure tuned 36Hz, front stage is a pair of CDT components powered by a RF Punch amp

i just bought a pair of DC Level 4's, i'll post some vids of those soon..

  3. Hi guys, i'm new to the forum and i'm from Trinidad in the West Indies..

I just recently bought a pair of Level 4 subs and have to say they are great performers! Some real low frequency monsters..

I'm mainly using them for IASCA SPL competitions powered by a pair of Sundown Audio SAZ1500Ds
