I have 2 12 alpine type x's (was an alpine freak) one blew and now i'm getting 2 12 fi bl's fully loaded. will they be louder or around the same?

i have a stinger one bought from my local audio shop. this is gonna be funny but i bought it for 800 and been having a lot of trouble with them so i think im going to buy one from dc and get my money back because i think this shop likes to screw a lot of people over. also i noticed this when my alternator makes funny noises like when its turning my lights flicker on sequence with it so im sure it has to be the alternator. opinions on what i am dealing with and what i should do? Sorry for thread jacking just thought we had the same problem so i decided to not just make a new thread.

I have the same problem. all my lights flicker and my voltage meter goes up and down but never a difference greater than .5 volts and alternator does make funny noises.when i accelerate the meter goes back to normal. but when i put a load on the alternator the flickering goes away... do i have the same problem. oh and yea the meter problem goes away when a load is put on as well.

well i got stinger 225 amp high output alternator 1 kinetik 2000 1 kinetik 2400 big 3 done amps:ALPINE 1 pdx 1.400 2 pdx 1.1000 subs:ALPINE 2 type x

ok cold start up 15 volts, warmed up down to 14.1 after i bang on my system on a couple songs down to 13.7-13.9 weather has gotten hotter around here about 80's. anything to worry about? oh and yea this is in stop and go traffic

I have Amps: 2 Alpine pdx 1.1000 1 Alpine pdx 4.100 Subs: 2 Alpine type x's 2 pairs of Alpine type r components head unit Alpine 9884 225 amp alternator made by Stinger 1 Kinetik Hc 2000 up front 1 Kinetik Hc 2400 in trunk 1/0 guage everywhere except from the amps to the distro. block is 4 guage what benefits do i get and will it hurt anything?
