  1. that's exactly what i'm gonna be doing, thanks guys! i was mainly just wondering if I needed to use the HPF of Full setting on my amp since i've never used components before. and if I did need to use the HPF i was wondering if I needed to splice the speakers wires from the HU to my amp - but since i don't i won't be worrying about it! so yeah i'll be running exactly how you put it (HU--amp--crossover--tweeter/woofer)
  2. yeah i'll be running the RCA's to my amp, then from my amp i'll connect my crossovers, then from crossovers to speakers/tweets....that's how i'm supposed to wire those up off the x-over
  3. alright for sure - thanks for the help! as soon as i get the right amp sent to me for my sub, i'll be able to finish the build and put it under the build logs!!
  4. hold on now i'm just a little confused ha so which wires am i gonna be running to my amp - the rca's or the speaker wires? thanks for the help btw
  5. yeah the components came with a set of crossovers so i'm guessing full should be just fine for me?? here's a little info about them from sonicelectronix.com ---> http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6713_H...s+ZXi+6.5C.html so should full still work out?
  6. Ok so here is my dilemma - i'm working on my stereo right now and I've got my component speakers that I need to get hooked up - but i'm not exactly sure what the best setting would be I've got a separate amp for them too so it won't be running off the same one as my sub. Of course not LPF since that's for the wang, but should I switch my amp to FULL or HPF???? and if I do need to put it on HPF - would the RCA's work for me, or do I need to hook up the HI input? aaaand if I do need to hook up the HI input - do I just splice from my speaker wires behind the deck?? thanks!!
  7. i'd say hell yeah and go with that - and as for amps that all just depends on what you want to do. but i'd definitely go with the dc xl 15's....those are going to pound!! FTW
  8. 2 15's will fit in a chrysler 300c. there's a decent amount of trunk space in those - but it will consume the majority or your trunk if you're going to port them. 1 15 might be a safer bet if you're looking to save some space still. just make sure you've got proper power to the right kind of sub and it will slam HARD. what kind of amp/subs/power supplies were you looking at putting in
