  1. I say keep it and find another source of income until you go back to school. Money is still out there you just got to get out and get it.
  2. Pioneer AVIC- D3. Double Din. Does voltage, Tach. and speedometer. But it ain't cheap. Buddy has it in his Subaru STI. Pretty nice HU.
  3. If you know your voltage then run what 12Volts chart says. Probably around a 75A fuse. Good Link Monte they got a lot of info on most vehicles.
  4. Good call. 150 hasn't blown yet but Im only running 500 watts and she goes around the block and back into the garage. I will grab some 300 A fuses at the wholesaler tomorrow. Thanks.
  5. Yeah I just have my sub amp wired in the Ram. Going for SQ in this being daily driven so bout to hook up my 5 channel and my 2 channel so I will be dealing with this again next week. Gonna keep watching post cause for SQ gonna need my mid bass. Sorry no help to you but thanks for letting me know that Im gonna have to deal with this BS too. If you figure it out please post. Thanks
  6. What year and model vehicle? I installed a Panasonic CQ- VD7003U in my 2008 Ram and had same problem. My 2003 Dakota has never had this problem. I got me a PAC SNI-1 ground loop isolator. Put it in back by amp and my noise almost completely went away. PAC said to put it in the dash behind HU. Noise completely gone for 1 full year now. The isolator plugs into RCA's inline between HU and Amp. I didn't expect the results I got because my alt. whine and interference noise was bad. You could hear my doors open and close through my sub. I'd give an RCA ground loop isolator a shot. If you have not already.
  7. You heard the amp yet? If so do you like it? SQ and SPL? Might have to check it out looking for a good 4000 for my 15's.
  8. You shouldn't have any problems running a 250 on each run of wire. Does your amp have to power input?
  9. Who installed it??? Wouldn't want them touching my trucks or a friends for that matter. That is a lot of problems for a simple install. A friend of mine is dealing with same he got a shit job done on his remote start his car is all Fd up. Take it back to them and let them deal with it. I told him same thing but his don't start anymore so we changing the starter now. Good luck bad break but you might have got what you payed for.
  10. What you pushing with the amp mids or subs?
  11. 45 minutes on charger and started right up. Thanks to The Forum found out 3 things I could have done wrong. Thanks guys
  12. Got it done but it ain't been started in a couple weeks so 6 year old Yellow Top needs a charge.
  13. I didn't think it would be a problem and it's my project truck she sits in garage. So I ain't worried. Gonna start her rebuild next month hopefully which includes replacing stock alternator. Thanks for the help. If I have a problem I will post
  14. I have a 136 amp alternator is a 150 amp Fuse big enough for alternator power wire?
  15. It will work but in the end you'll want to upgrade it. I'd just wait unless you already have the rest of your equipment and you need your bass.
  16. Yeah dealer cost is 219.99. But your boss should get them cheaper than that if I walk in and buy just one at my wholesale is 175.99. I have to pay tax but most gets wrote off. If your boss will give you 170 to 180 used than try to get the cash. Never pay Retail. Anybody in Texas hit me up.
  17. Should not be a problem as long as it is flexible enough to route through your vehicle. Got to love a freebie hope it works for you.
  18. You got a multi meter?
