sealed they would be ok in 3cubes... 2 12s would be ok in that enclosure, u need more port tho

ported u need ~6cuft and 12sqin of port per cuft

So what i am looking at, is 2, DC lvl 3 15's, and the space i have to work with is 31" wide, 17" tall, and 30" deep, and according to REboxcalc, i have everything tuned too 33.5 hz..

both are nice. i have never heard a lvl 3 but i am running an m3 15 right now. i like it alot but i have way to much power on it. it only last about 3 months before i have to recone it. not sure about dc with warranties because i haven't run them yet but i get a free recone every time because of the warranty with memphis

yeah get hte audioque 1200d it will do rated power if not more then that hifonics.and i run hifonics but after hearing that they are overratted kind of killed it for me really.

idk, i know he is a good guy, and also sells premier and alpine subs also..but i don't know, i think i'm going with DC anyway, and i need a 1,200 watt amp..looking at the hifonics, brutus amp..could i do better then that for a 250 bucks pricetag?

he's trying to sell you on memphis, had you bought them and not been on this forum you would never know any better.

I havnt heard both in a similar install so I wont pass an opinion. The M's arent bad by any means, I just dont see 2 10's outperforming 12's on similar power and spec boxes...maybe 12's to 12's

well, i mean, i think he wanted me to be loud, he has been selling memphis for about 9 years, and in car audio for about 15, and has two, 15" memphis mojo's, with 2,200watts, and was the damned loudest thing i have ever heard, the closed garage door behind us was shaking back and fourth, and so, i don't hold it against him, but i just don't know why he didn't think they would be good subs..

Another tough move..I went from Memphis, to craving some DC audio's, and the guy here is telling me that the Memphis M3's, two 10's will be louder, and sound better then DC, and DC was made just for competing, and no good over all quality, any DC owners have a say in that? I'm not looking to be the loudest in town, but i want to be heard, but it still sound clean

here you go hitman, just to give you an idea. My set up is 2 lvl3 12s in a ported enclosure tuned to 32hz. Box was designed for my lvl2s but I upgraded from the 2s to the lvl3s after about 2 weeks lol. Box still works great, but I have a feeling I'll be doing a rebuild soon. 3.04cuft after displacement (1.52cuft per chamber)
