well i'm not so good with cars, yet. which is why i wanted to do this. i know alot of people that are, and i think they would be willing to help out. how much do bodys/engines go for at junkyards?

haha, what year? and i wonder if a corvette motor would fit in it.. and does anyone know where i can find a list of parts that fit a f-150? 2002-04 model

Hey guys, so i had a idea on how to get a F-150. Go to junk yards, buy a f-150 frame/body in good condition (if possible) but had some engine problems or whatever, then found one with a beat body, but good internals, and just build one from scratch? or heck, put a bigger motor, and so on. but how hard would this be to do?

volvo 850. and i was thinking of it because a yellow top there is like, 200, and i could get a bigger alt and keep the same battery and be able to get a 2k plus system down the road.. and i have no idea what the stock output is now..

I was in auto zone looking at yellow tops, and told that guy what i want and he suggested just getting a new 100 amp alternator for 180, plus install. would that be good for anything over 1k? or do i need something over 100?
