Hey guys, so i had a idea on how to get a F-150.

Go to junk yards, buy a f-150 frame/body in good condition (if possible) but had some engine problems or whatever, then found one with a beat body, but good internals, and just build one from scratch? or heck, put a bigger motor, and so on.

but how hard would this be to do?

and i was thinking of it because a yellow top there is like, 200, and i could get a bigger alt and keep the same battery and be able to get a 2k plus system down the road..

and i have no idea what the stock output is now..

I was in auto zone looking at yellow tops, and told that guy what i want and he suggested just getting a new 100 amp alternator for 180, plus install. would that be good for anything over 1k? or do i need something over 100?

If can afford it... do it all lol. At least do your big3 and I need some input from the others but I think an alternator could be better than just getting another battery, but hell do both. D3100 and a DC 270xp(I think xp) or pm me and I know someone who does h/o alts for a great price

how can u fit two twelves with only 12" height... u need 13" height, u might be able to get away with 12.5"

u should do:

31w*13h*28d

3.96cuft

33.43hz

5" wide port

14.5sqin/cuft of port

the piece of wood for the port is 21.5" long

so with a max width of 31"... that means 12 for each sub... so 24" + 5" for the port plus 1.5" for both side of the box... that leaves you with 1/2" between each speaker... so put some dowel rod from baffle to back, top to bottom and side to port wall side... i included bracing in the above calulations...

i wanna say this is where all the numbers needed to go..

but the tuning is always at 29..

they don't sell a 10'' lvl5

12-16sqin per cuft of internal volume... 14sqin/cuft is a nice average... depends how big u can make ur box too

u need to post ur max dimensions u want the box to be... ur making this too hard because its all in relation

so ur port area depends how big the box is in the first place

max box size is 31" wide, 12" tall and 30" deep..
