  1. well my question was if i wire it for 2ohms will it be more stable/reliable(last longer) then if i wired for 1 ohm? or will it not matter
  2. ok cool but would it be better for me to order the fi's at 1 ohm or 2. which would allow for them to last longer as well as the amp?
  3. which one is better for the fi BL 15's http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_2808_R...r+T20001bd.html or the brutus from above
  4. i didnt see the 2606 but i did see this one, will it work? http://www.woofersetc.com/p7499/BXI-2610D-...k-Amplifier.htm
  5. i must admit, you guys are pretty fast with the responses. and i appreciate it. ill go check those now
  6. ok i think i am going to switch to fi BL line of 15's. on the hunt now for a good amp. i dont think i want to buy two pdx1.1000. any guesses? but i still want to know what people are using for components in competitions just curious i guess
  7. ok cool. so if i choose cooling, should i still choose flatwind?
  8. and what is the 15 BL peak power rated for
  9. i was on their site looking at the 15's but what is flatwind and hyper pole? do i want either one of those? and if i chose daily or spl will i lose any power?
  10. for example this would fit no problem. with more space to spare, probably could get two in there http://www.hifisoundconnection.com/Shop/Co...sid/0/SFV/30046
  11. i have a pretty big trunk, i forgot the dimensions. but i was planning on doing a ported box
  12. a few questions now, what is a hyper pole and flatwind? and what brand do you guys like for (6.5)components for up front. keeping in mind sql
  13. so im at fi's website and i dont know the best way to custimize the sub. and i take it when it comes to spl the fi bl line is better then the alpine type r 15's
  14. yea i did state those in my post up top.LOL. i guess my budget is somewhere around 2000. i already got my HU so all i need is front components/rear coaxs/ subs and amps. im trying to get the most for my money so if you guys know of something thats better then alpine somewhere let me know. im new to this so i was thinking that alpine was the top of the line. if im wrong let me know, lol
  15. yea it is my daily driver for the moment and ill check for my stock alt specs
  16. wait i only said that so you guys can get a feel for what im looking for. this is my first system but i know what im looking to achieve and i was just trying to get that across. but its cool though im not tripping, you guys cant read my mind, lol. i was trying to keep it all alpine but if you guys got better suggestions i would like to hear them. but i really want some major spl coming out the trunk so im looking for the right sub/amp combo. also trying to stick with 15's this is my cardomain page so you can see what i was planning better http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2687477
  17. i have a 1999 nissan altima (gxe). i already have alpine cda9887 HU. im in the process of purchasing alpine type x 6.5 components (spx-17REF) for the front doors and type r coax's (spr-17c) for the rear. The components will be ran off the pdx2.150 and the rears off the HU. in the trunk is 2 type r 15's (1542) ran off a pdx1.1000. im thinking about adding a optima YT to the list. should i? right now i think i have an autocraft. i know my system may not be as loud as some of you guys (or powerful) so should i add a new alteranator? if so which would be a good choice? im trying to get the most out of my setup so are my amp choices good? will the pdx1.1000 be enough for the two 15's? what im looking is for excellent sql in the cabin and at the same time when i pul up to a stop light i want the other cars to say"what does he have in that trnk." but i think my main concern is should i invest in a new battery and alternator(which one). i hope this makes sense i just woke up,lol. **imprint kit will be bought after everything is installed
