well the female connector does fit the terminal on the left (the bigger one) but the terminal on the right doesnt fit the female connectors and there's no way for it to fit the male connector. so maybe there's a smaller female connector out there? or ill just solder bare wire to it.

homdepot has them in 6 or 8 packs for $1
what section is their speaker wire in?
-
heres a pic type r 6.5
-
my components and coax's have male and female terminals. but it seems that i can only find these quick disconnects in 100 packs. clearly i dont need that many. so what do you guys do. just solder the bare wire to the terminals?

will the two fi bl 15's hit the lows pretty hard or no? anybody...
-
do i need to worry about the rockford amp overheating at 1 ohm?
-
sub up port back to make it work.
this means the subs would be facing up towards the trunk lid and the ports would be in the back of the box facing the seats correct?
-
im not sure if you will be able to see it but
wheel well to wheel well (towards the back) is 40 inches
side to side towards the front is 53 inches
front to back is 40 inches
height is 17 1/2 before i hit the speakers
height up front did not measure but maybe 20 or so
and the trunk opening is 17 inches
i hope this makes sense
-
6cu ft after sub and port displacement
i think i might be having a total brain fart but what is that in inches?
-
itll be going in a 99 nissan altima
-
this is for two FI BL 15s
ok. im trying to get a rough estimate. fi's website says is should be between 2.8 - 4 cu^ft. and tuned between 28-37hz.
lets just make it a simple 3cu^ft and tuned to 30hz(if this part matter, i dont know) what size box (roughly) am i looking at for two 15's? hope this makes sense

anybody know of a good box design program?
-
yeah if you can get that fosgate amp then go with that one man that is a good amp right there but i mean if you on a budget then roll with the hifonics.and that fosgate will do more then ratted too so your looking at 2200 or maybe more.
yea i think im going to go with the rockford.
-
do you guys think the 6.5 type x components are over rated? better choices out there for less? or ou think its just personal preference? i just know theyre made for sql and thats what i want up front. im trying to have it sound like a concert inside my car. any suggestions as well?
-
and i take it the only place to get fi subs is from off their site
-
running a sub @ 1ohm/2ohm means nothing for the longevity of the driver. Typically, using 1ohm load on the amp will be harder on the cars electric system, but running an amp @ 2ohm, will make LESS power. First and for-most, you need to do the BIGIII to your car/truck, then add a back batt, then add an HO alt if you need more power, and or exceed 2500watts (this is just my theory)
oh ok i got you now
connector ?
