i actually have 4 10'' ev dl10x midrange/ midbass speakers on my rear deck. sound super clean.. amazing.. and the quality is good.. and i have 4 8'' beyma 8m100 speakers on my doors... pick up the highs nice and stay clean..... i have them a kicker zx650.4 for the 10's and a kicker kx 350.4 for the 8's and i have them on a kicker 3 way crossover. and about to add a kicker 30 band eq... and eminence is another good brand but i would say the electro voice ev dl10x is way better.. i know lots that use.. some up to 24 10'''s in their truckk

my wife will send me my spare 20'' rim with a friend or a taxi. and its actually 2 seperate boxes put in one at a time then screwed together before i put the 2 closer subs in.. and the 4 huge magnets you see coming thru the rear deck are my 4 10'' ev's ev dl10x midrange speakers.. these things are heard from a mile away with clarity like you would not beleive when tuned right.. plus i have 4 8'' beyma 8m100 speakers on my doors for my mids/highs box are 4.5 cube each and slot ported thru the back seat...... :hairtrick: and right now i only have 1 kicker zx2500.1 but i just ordered a second zx2500.1 yesterday..? 2 kinetik hc1400's and a optima under the hood..

tranny went on my wifes truck so i needed my back seat for the kids untill i fix her truck or get her another one.. so for now i built a box for my trunk instead of the wall i had planned originaly.. wall will still be built in a month or 2 as soon as i get her car fixed or a new one.. well here ya go enjoy...

the reason i ask is because my one kicker zx2500.1 was sent into kicker 3 days ago to get fixed.. and i just ordered another zx2500.1 yesterday from hifisoundconnection.com. so now im ampless execpt for my backup amp which is a zapco ref 1100.1 i have 4 15'' dual 2 ohm l7 subs.. now i no i can wire a pair of them together to drop to 2 ohms to be put on the zapco amp but i was curious if i wire all 4 of my subs down to 1 ohm load would the zapco amp be able to handle that..? its not a cheap amp so i figured i would ask first before i try it and kill the amp.. :hairtrick: any ideas.........?

i like my L7's but after seeing all your videos here on the forum im like wow.. i have 4 15'' kicker l7 dual 2 ohm subs.. each pair of subs in a 4.5 cf box ported thru the back seat.. each pair on a kicker zx2500.1 @ 2ohms... kinetik hc1400's.. i know i need hc2400's but im working on getting them. my kickers sound cazy loud and shake peoples house and store windows.. when testing my system in my garage to get ready for all the "STREETBEAT COMP"S" that we have around me i have my neighbors who live all the down the block and around the corner tell me their entire house was shaking and glass plates in the cabintes or sinks are rattling.. one lady who was planting in her garden 2 blocks from me called the cops and said i was shaking her dirt and disturbing her plants..lol true story.. but yeah anyway what if any would be better to go with then my kicker L7 subs.. i would keep the amps.. rember i have 4 15'' L7's.. on 2 2500.1's... i was thinking 4 15'' fi btl fully loaded or 2 15'' dc lvl 5 subs. or 2 18'' fi btl's 4 12'' kicker solo x subs. or should i just rip my 4 L7's out the trunk and build a wall for them in my back seat...? would that make it more what im looking for..?

i have a pair old school 12'' orion xtr ferro injected cone subs..each sub is dual 4 ohms.. in a bandpass enclosure.. and i also have a old school 15'' kicker s15d sub.. in a decent 1.5 cu sealed box.. single 4 ohm sub.. and for the amp right now i have a 1200 watt sony xplod xm 2002gtr rated at 200 watts rms x 2 @ 2 ohm..and 5oo watts rms x1 @ 4 ohms. will be changing the sony amp for a kicker zx750.1 amp next month.. its for my wifes 95 gmc jimmy.. and i can always build a different box for either of the subs if the boxes are not good enough.. im thinking definetly ported for the kicker sub even tho its not called for..? whats your thoughts and opinions on what sub or subs i should use..? thanks.

o.k this will be my temporary amp untill i get my kicker zx2500.1 fixed and my other zx2500.1 arrives.. i ordered a second one.. well i picked this zapco amp up today from a buddy of mine who bought it new and used it only 1 month then went into the service. he then came out the service and was no longer into car audio but did not want to give up the amp as he spent $800 on it when he bought it a while back... well he has always wanted a specific modified hand gun i had but i was never willing to give it up.. so finally i called him and asked if he still wanted to trade so he said gladly.. it was a modded .45 anyway i will be using this amp on 2 of my 15'' l7 dual 2 ohm subs both wired together to a 2 ohm load.. since the amp is 2 ohms stable.. but im a lil confused.. first the brithsheet that came with the amp says its rated power is 1150 watts rms @ 4 ohms but if the amp is 2 ohms stable then whats the rated rms @ 2 ohms..? the birth sheet nor manual states this info.. i am trying to find out so i can know how good this will hit my 2 15'' l7's untill i get my 2500.1 fixed.. does anyone have any info on this amp.. whats your thoughts on it.. and what should i sell it for when i get my kicker amps back..?? its still in the original box with all paper work and birth sheet and even the bus adapter to connect rca's to the amp...

im the one who's fucked.. my amp dont work..lol. buy yeah my batt's are reading at 12.8 with car off and at 14.2 with car running,,, fuse is good..so i dont know.. and all my fuses are good... im guessing low voltage but how...? im confused..

my zx2500.1 went into protect mode.. im pissed off.. i just got it like 2-3 months ago and just got it in the car.. well i am running 2 15'' dual 2 ohm subs wired to 2 ohms together... i have all zero gauge wire.. even the big 3.. 2 optima batts.. one in the hood and one in the trunk.. a 240 iraggi dominator series alt and i was playing my music in my garage with the car off and the amp was playing fine and lasting the whole 30-40 minutes i was fooking with it.. then a few days later i went out some where about an hour away so i jumped on the highway and decided to blast the tunes a lil to see what it sounded like and after 15 minutes of some music i decided to play some basstronics and after 5 minutes the amp started cutting in and out periododicaly and then i lowered the volume half way and it was fine for about 20 minutes.. then i put ot back up lil by lil and and it was fine for about another 20 minutes then it just shut off... and now its stuck in protect mode.. i opened it and dont see nothing wrong.. no poppoed resistors or anything.. bo burnt smell or marks on the board.. but its weird.. whats weird.. well with the amp completly disconnected from any battery or power source , if i plug in any 2 wire in to the remote and power on the amp the amps protect light will light up red..? im very confused.. wheres the power coming from... and now i have to send it all the way back to kicker to pay out the ass to get it fixed........ uggggggg

i used dupont chromabase primer and paint and clear coat.. all came out perfect while doing the bupmer but i got some pimples in the clear coat and i would like advice on how to fix that without haveing to spray more clearcoat.. times are tight.. its very lil pimples. about 25-30 but spread in groups of 3-4 around the bupmer.. i gave more then enough flash time between coats of clear.. how do i fix it. what grade sand paper and do i use soapy water to wet sand...?

i probally wont be able to remove the isolator and test the batts untill tomorrow.. today is very busy for me tonight.. so i should run the car for a few, then turn it off and dissconnect the isolator from the mix and before connecting the 2 batt's together i should test their voltage while car off and batts are resting.. correct..? and thanks a mill..

you mean remove the isolator and connect the battery from the trunk straight to the positive terminal from the battery under the hood.. correct.? fused of course.

honestly i dont know.. thats what i was told to use by kicker technical support.. i asked them all my questions before i knoew about this site as i have all kicker equipment.. should i not be using an isolator..? whats the fault of using one..?

o.k well like the title says i would like to add a second alt to my car.. its a 95 pontiac bonneville sle with series 2 motor. i searched and cant find any info on the web about anybody haveing to alts on my car.. i wish to run a second alt to help power my system.. i have alot of stuff.. i have upgraded every power and ground under my hood even to the starter to 0/1 gauge wire. i have all 0/1 gauge going from my alt to the battery to the isolator to the second battery and to the 2 sub amps.. ( zx2500.1's ) and i have all 4 gauge for my mids and highs amps.. 2 of them. ( kicked 350.4 ) and i have upgraded my alt to a 220 amp iraggi dominator series alt.. pretty nice.. but not enough. and also i have a yellow top optima car audio battery in the trunk and a autozone brand battery under the hood.. the yellow top colored one.. its there biggest battery made.. i know i need another optima instead of the autozone batt but its coming.. (( soon i will upgrade to 2 kinetik 2400's )) just waiting for the extra cash.. ( i got 2 kids and a mortage ).. can anybody tell me how to add a second alternator to my car....? i would highly appericate this.. i been trying to do this for so long its irratating me..lol
