you most likely don't have enough processing power to support sony vegas considering its native with HD
either that or your video card is lacking
windows media player is just adequate for throwing together a few clips on the TL
X2 - Well said - WMM is awesome & can really get er' done -
You'll notice that certain video editing programs are very job specific - Hell, I use 4 different programs just to make 1 video. Vegas is great too - But to many people it will seam like rocket science just trying to do anything with it lol.
-
HAHAHAHA
EVERYBODY push play on the video and watch wonderbreadSTS's avatar!
LMFAO!

i use my digital camera for my vids, i tried importing my files and it wouldnt because it said it doesnt support .mov files
Your best bet is to buy a program that comes with a product key and complete range of clip compatibility. (AVI,MPG,MP4,3GP,FLV,MOV) ect
Or, buy a new camera that records in AVI

You'd be surprised what Windows Movie Maker can do - It's a great program.

i didnt buy the sub, and my friend got it off a buddy so he couldnt choose what it was.
I see what your sayin' bro.
Go to the sub, can you find the ''ohm'' rating? If not, measure to find it with a DMM.
You'll need to know this before choosing a proper amp.
-
Really? There are soooo many people who run Alpine MRP's w/ Type R's. You must not have searched very hard
But, to give you some insight....
I know a guy doing 150's with a single RD Audio D9 and 2 Type-R's.
A good install can make any sub shine.

hey guys I need your help. Im going to build a two cell slit ported box, ported to 33hz for 2 12's. they are alpine type x's. The problem im having is i cant seem to find a sticky that would tell me how to get the right dementions and what not, i dont know what im doing so any direct would be great. how ever i have built a sealed box but a freind gave me the the dementions for the cuts. and please dont tear me up i know im a noob, and i do apologize for it.
If you need someone to help you, You need to provide enough information for them.
Sub specs / rec. box specs
Vehicle make & model
Max height
Max width
Max length
ect.

Keep it goin' strong man - people who bash only wish they had what you have. Good Job!
-

I dont think I have ever seen it rain so hard here in LA shit is crazy!!! I got a wash goin through my backyard its about 10 feet high with water flowin probly 30mph we got like 10 inches of rain this week, we only average 15 inches for the whole year.
Well then get outside and bass up some ripples in the puddles

Build to legit specs of the woofer- there's no fun in building a box that's too large for the sub.
Over sized boxes promote over-excursion and loss of woofer control.
Corollary = build to size the first time.
-
I wouldn't put much faith in a meter that limits you to 125db max.
Yes it may be cool, but hopefully you'll be louder than that in the first place
-
You caught my attention - I like where your mind's going wth that idea in your truck.. You've got some real knowledgeable guys on here. Run with it, and I'm sure you'll find exactly what your looking for. Goodluck on the build!
-
geez noob way to bump the oldies.
LOL- hell yeah - I was browsing through all the old builds this morning searching for something to poke fun at - But sadly, Meade does to well a' job on all his shit...Lol that bastard
-
So you bought a BTL without putting any thought into what amp to buy?
Planning is the biggest part of car audio....
Get an amp that best suits the specs of your sub, and the thickness of your wallet
-
Very nicely done around the seams of the hole and port flange.
-
i call it 0 or zero or 1/0.... im lazy
LOL - x2 that - - "0 gauge" is a much needed shortcut
-
Good choice in subs brother
-
just keep posting good vids and your views and subscribers will come man. i learned that a while back, if you ask pep or nag to much on it, they will just ignore you. just get to work on more vids and have fun with it
X2 that

The two terminals all go to the same place. But one thing with these amps, be careful with your pre-out voltage. These amps don't like ANYTHING over 5 volts. So if you have a line driver I would go about tuning very carefully, and with a little room for play for those songs with different recording levels. Overall, great amp, little footprint. Clamped mine doing 1000W at 3.8ohm
