  1. I haven't found many that I like that are used. What about a Soundstream Rubicon 2500? Its cheap!!! Brand new but has anyone done business with onlinecarstereo.com? Are they okay to buy from?

  2. Alright, I just asked him if it was a proto. Waiting for a reply, if it isn't i'm going to stay away from it. Anyone have any other suggestions for amps fairly cheap (under $500) that will do around 3k prefferably more?

  3. Thats what I thought. But I didn't know if there was a certain production run or something to stay away from or go to. But Thanks for your help, he's gonna have it hooked up for a comp this weekend so if I fall in love with it I may get it, if its cheap enough lol

  4. Yup, he has one for sale that he just got repaired.

"was running it at low volume (had my daughter in the truck) tried to change tracks on my usb drive, the deck froze, i turned it off and turned it back on, when it came back on the amp was in protect............. no idea why it happened but it blew the outputs and the drive cards"

Thats why he sent it in.

  5. From what i've been told (someone correct me if i'm wrong) but I heard it was over a 150 db under like 35hz and you have great hairtricks. I would assume a higher excursion subwoofer would be better for hairtricks as it would move more air. I'm not sure about the stiffness of the driver though. But I assume a looser suspension would be better because a subwoofer gets louder and plays lower as it breaks in. Again correct me if i'm wrong

  6. Alright, i've been talking to a local guy and he told me to do 4 10's but each sub should have a seperate chamber because it prevents noise cancelation. Is this true? I have a box designed for 4 10's but shared chamber. For some reason I can't seem to get the seperate chamber boxes tuned to what I would like unless I have a massive port. So is noise cancellation a big deal?
