  1. you could get a LC1 and some y splitters?

The remote bass runs off of a RJ-45 cord though on a T-5001BD amp. So that's why I was wondering if a splitter would work. Just split the signal into two, and one for each amp. I just don't wanna damage anything, seems to me like that should work, but I just wondered if anyone has any other ideas.
  2. I have two Rockford Fosgate T5001BD amps and two subs. I have one amp on each sub. I want to us the remote bass boost knob, but would like one knob to control both amps boost. Is this possible? Can I just use a phone jack splitter and split the wire coming from bass knob into both amps? I cant strap these because they don't have the master/slave feature. Is there some other way to do this? I know Steve's got 8 amps and somehow has them all wired to one knob.

  3. Hey, would anyone happen to know a good place to buy lowering springs for a vehicle? I've been looking for front lowering springs for my ride, a 1990 Olds Delta 88, but can't find them anywhere! I just need for the front, I need to drop it down between an inch and a half, and two inches cuz all the stereo weight in the back makes the rear sag more than the front, quite a bit. But i've looked all over the web to no avail. I know this is a rare car to do mods like that too, but there's gotta be some place. Or some place that will make them custom for me? Please let me know if anyone has an idea! Thanks!

  4. I woke up for school, and my mom had the news on tv. I sat and watched as I ate breakfast. Didn't really understand what was going on or severity of it, but she said it was very serious. I was in 7th grade, and when I got to school, they had the tv on the news, and everyone was just quiet. Nobody knew how to act, we tried to do our schoolwork, but nobody could focus. Such a strange, weird feeling that morning, I'll NEVER forget it.

  5. Ok I guess it still added it to my garage and now its on there 5 times, lol oops. :peepwall: I can't figure out how to delete the other ones so if some would could do that it would be awesome! lol

Hey, the same thing just happened to me! And mine is on there like 8 times, lol. Did you ever figure out how to delete the other ones? Because I am having the same problem.

  6. Steve, the benches look great! You did an awesome job on them, as usual! It's crazy how you can just do anything you need to, weather it be car audio, working with wood, metal, welding, you're talented man! Also, it's funny that both of chickens caddy's and the honda are in the exact same spot as when I was there 2 weeks ago for the demo of the tahoe. :) Guess that just goes to show how busy you are!

  7. just curious as i see lots of people still living under mom and dads roof and buying lots of stereo equipment, rims etc and basicly living it up with no responsibilities. I mean if your still in school and under 18 this doesnt apply to you, i am asking some of you who are 21 or more and still in momma birds nest :D

I grew up in a good home with a loving family but when i was 17 going on 18 i couldnt leave fast enough...are times different? or are some of you just like me? Thats probably why it took me till my 30's before i could start buying as much crap as i do now.....years of hard work out on the roof, raising kids, supporting pregnant wife 2 times (her not working during) making car payments, rent (now mortgage) and everything else seems to make it hard to keep up. Sometimes i WISH i had nothing but me and the clothes on my back that momma bought for me - and my toys.....i could live so large!!!!!

    not ranting, just curious :)

i wouldnt change a thing about my years except having a kid before i was ready and paying 18yrs of child support...

I moved out of my parents place at 20. I moved 300 miles away to my aunt and uncle's place, who own a resturant. I lived with them for about 5 months, and in January of 2010, I finally got my own place!!! I am now 21, and I am renting a small house, and I work at their resturant as a cook, dishwasher, prepworker. I enjoy it, and I can't describe how awesome it feels to have a place to call my own. However, it is harder than heck to keep up with rent, phone, utilities, insurance, and everything else there is to pay for. Eventually, I wanna get a job as an installer somewhere, and maybe if my dream comes true, own my own car audio and electronics shop some day. My passion is cars, and car audio, there is nothing I like better, and that is my goal. My parents would let me stay at home as long as I wanted though, as long as I helped a little with expenses. I have the most loving family ever, and I am very thankful, but it is awesome to be out on my own! :)

  8. if you guys all email trucking and tell them, maybe they will notice - but im not gonna beg them to publish my truck. If they want to, im here of course. Thanks man :)

    no worries :) :)

well id like to have a 2010 but with all the stuff i have on the 01' - someday!

thanks!! oh and some of the things people try to tell me to do, i have plans to do or at least have thoughts of something similar. The thing is, everyone expects me to do it all at once. One thing im not going to do is put color matched dust covers over the willwoods LOL :D:lame:

thanks very much! This weekend is supposed to be nice and all week next week storming.......so i hope to get some more video of it in some nice sunshine. I need to pick up a $500 beater-shop car because i dont want to drive this in the rain at all let alone 2 days after i get it back

    :foshizzle:

Roy painted them to match but i dont even know anything about aftermarket tahoe mirrors - pics? links? I can always do it later -

    :thanx

LOL! Yeah idk what the heck they were thinkin man. Your 16" wilwoods look freakin' sick just like they are. You just keep doin what you do, and what you think looks good, and it will always be sick. Your work in this kind of stuff is fantastic. Keep it up!!!

  9. thanks everyone!

for the life of me i cant understand why some of you continue to tell me what i should do with my car. You really should worry about your own car. Thanks anyway but i think i got it.

haha I was thinkin' the same thing Steve! Personally, I think it looks absolutley sick and you couldn't have really done much better in my opinion. And I would love to get a demo when you get it back, if you think you have time! :)
