Crappy vids droid does not pick up flex,or sound worth a fudge sorry.
And finally my first baby hair trick isn't it cute.
-
I have some more pics,I'll post later.but for now.
Here is the ten's,this isn't a distance test. Its just to get the point across. There is no distortion its all from the droids mic.sorry.
My video got cut short because of the cop at the end.He didn't turn around though,I got lucky.

Their will be three panels on top and front to make the whole trim. This is the middle on on top. I will be rounding the port and the speaker holes over, with 3/4".Instead of the 1/2" round over pictured.
Once I finish cutting to fit to factory panels,I'll bedliner all the trim panels.
-
First layer all the way around.
Second layer on bottom.
Two layers on front and port rounded over.
-
-
All the pieces cut and started on the first layer.

I got the box built, will post pics soon. 9 cubes,33 hertz, port is 7.75 x 14 And it gets DOWN.Sorry for not posting pics.

I received my two crescendo concerto 1100-4's Friday.I'll post pic's of them shortly.I hooked one o them up to test and my mother in law could here me from her house to mine, which is 1 mile away!!! Can't wait to get the other one hooked up and also have bass to go with it. All I really have to do is build the box for the 15's.
-
Got the bass knobs wired up,and in place. One for the crescendo, and the other for a kicker kx3.Which I don't have a pic of for whatever reason.
Got my distortion detector in a few days ago and it is awesome best tool I've ever bought.
Kinetik 2000 for under the hood came in the day after that.
The kinetik is too tall for my hood to shut so I had to build a box for it to sit in.And take out the factory plastic battery tray.
I bedlinered that today.
-
The head unit jvc kd-r720. Didn't need anything fancy just something with dual usb and to get me signal to the back.
The harness is soldiered and heat shrunk.
Crescendo 2k.
FI ssd 15's

The false bottom is bedlinered.
All panel in except for the seat, because I'm lazy.
I did it like this so if I ever trade the truck in I won't have to buy a bunch of panels.
-
Kinetik 2000,and extra wire for the bass amp.
In the hole all wired up.
-
Here's the platform for the back KInetik 2000,and also where the grounds come in.And then a pic of it bedlinered.
I built a platform for everything to mount to,and I'll bedliner it also.

I'm running two runs of 0 gauge from front to back,And two 0 Gauge grounds from both batteries to frame. There is a fuse on each end of every power wire in the truck.I also soldiered all the terminals to the wire.
Here's a pic of the grounds. Then a pic of how I grounded them to the frame. And also a pic of most of the wire before I started.
Here's the truck gutted to run all the power, rca's and speaker wire.

I didn't want to wrap the doors, but I wanted them to match the interior. So I went with a grey that I made by pouring tints in to a cup until the color was close.I sanded them with 320,then flex sealed them.I sprayed my base, then I matte flex cleared them,so they weren't to shinny. Her they are all wired up ready to go.
-
After all the bondo was done I flex primed it with three coats, then sanded it down with 240.Then I flex primed it again with three more coats. We put this stuff in our primer called plasticiser ,which makes the primer and clear be able to bend.I call it flex for short,I used that because of the plastic bending on top of the panels. This picture is during sanding after the first coats.
This is the second set of primer coats.
The whole panel was textured, and I didn't wan't that so I primed it and sanded it to look like the rest of the panel.
Nice and slick.

I ground all the nipples and itchy stuff off. That is the worst part about fiberglass IMO.After the glass I mixed up some duraglass for the big dips and gaps.I spread it on sanded it down, and then did the same with bondo.
The green stuff is the duraglass, the pinkish is the bondo.
-
At this point I put resin on them, and then sanded them down.I put three layers of glass on the inside, and three on the outside.

Will post more pics in a couple days bare with me.
