i have my reasons.
I like what im doing more though....its way more fun. You can only compete so many times before it gets boring....doug puts on a good show for the people that are into it. I like going and hanging out with my peeps but i also like bailing out when i feel like it
also, ive had the same box since 2004 and its time for some upgrades......cant upgrade and keep climbing the db ladder when i have other peoples cars to work on. Everything you see that i have upgraded like 4 alts, new batteries, new amps......has all been for the BLVD. I do this cuz i love beat, not for competitions.
one more slight issue.....watching a GANG of my dbdrag stat scores just fall off my stats page one day really discouraged me. Im not mad at Doug, i really like him.....but i mentioned my missing scores no less then 5 times and nothing was done about it. Also my 2005 bassrace scores which were some of the highest AT THE TIME, never made it to the leaderboard......yet a bunch of other peoples did. Nothing was ever done about it so i figured if they dont care then niether do i......ill find something else more fun to do, and thats what i did - havent looked back since.
Now that wasnt a shot at Doug at all, he is one of my favorite people and he does nothing but prop me up everywhere he goes.....i love the guy in a non gay way There was just a few things that contributed to me not caring anymore and a few things that keep me interested at all........and that is mainly demo'ing my system and gettin vids out of it for the site
man i know what you mean steve i asked for a demo since 05 at least 6 times still never sat in that hoe! you have even rolled the window up on me while i was trying to get a feel/hear you didnt know was there but after that i was like man forget it!
i lost interest myself your to busy lol

I guess you misread the rules. No one is grouped into the Xtreme divisions. We have an "open" or an "unlimited" class in both Basic ( stock or street if you will ) and in Advanced ( Super Street or Modified ). These classes is for those that have an unlimited amount of money with killer stereo systems.
The other classes are systems on a budget ... like 90% or more of the people out there.
As far as clamping cars, this is no different that a certified dB Drag event where you have to use a volt meter and measure voltage on each individual car ... same deal. I could clamp 30 cars with this format and be done in 3.5 hours
These classes are designed for first time competitors, those with limited amount of money and those vetrien competitors that are tired of spending an assload of money on equipment.
Now a person can use a stock battery ( instead of a $1,000 Catus or DD battery ), 1 run of 4 ga ( instead of 20 runs of 0ga ) a 2 channel amp bridged to 500 watts ( instead of 2 - 5,000 watt mono blocks ) and $80 subs ( instead of $500+ subs each ).
As said, this may not be for everyone and thats ok. Competition is about creating interest for dealers and we're hoping dealers might want to use us and this format to do that.
i got a tiny budget and a big assss amp so i gotta go aganst unlimited or open class sooo just about every one in this fourm is ether extreme or unlimited or open and that sounds like an ass load of money
you said you been doing it for a few years how big is it?
when i got my ass handed to me the frist time it made me wanna get louder i.e buy equipment from shops and dealers there was alot room for improvement some kid could get lucky and have a 500 dollar system that spanks everyone in his class is he gonna improve?
why hes winning
your system seems to stop that growth
-
Thats exactely what it is for. Newcomers and those that don't have the money to buy the large amps and highend subs.
And if you look at these rules as opposed to others, they are alot better and the field is equally match for all.
so is this guy with no money gonna travel over a 100 miles to compete?? and if you do have a big show clamping 30 cars would take FOREVER
if anything you need better rules for guys who take it serious
there is no real room for improvement with out going extrem
im not putting the idea down i just see those flaws i hope it becomes big we need more competors in this industry anyway we can get them
just not my cup a tea or any of the other competors that i travil hundreds of miles with to compete they all have big equipment and to be massed together in extreme just does not seem right
you will defintaly attract locals

Get loud Productions has a new format of competeing to make it equal for everyone.
Check it out at there site and sign up for there forums and join in.
I and a few other feel this will take off and help those that don't have the money to invest in other orgs to be competitive. Think on the classes as you look them over and see for yourself. This will be big.

the micgoes on the front windshield.. depending on the amountof batteries you would be in Street Max with the car off or SuperStreet with the car on.. and of coursse anyone can do Bassrace
later
Doug
Ya a wall with the batt.. under the hood car off street max 1-2 or 3 - 4 deppending on how many subs you got
if you got more batt.s in the back super street 1-2 or 3-4 or 5+ car on... you can also use 16 volt batts in super street and charge them up to 18 volts
-
its not agasnt any rule in dbdrag as long as the port stays below the window line and you have NORMAL function of all your cars oem parts IASAC dunno dont care lol

we had a slim chance of bring that tropy to the west coast but they made sure to put a stop to that
i have spent lots of time money and omg the driving to support this to get no support in return
and i can not find anything in the rules showing that we did any wrong!!!
