  8. i just bought a HC2400 and that helped some then standard wet cell strating battery up front

  10. right now i Might be able to spare around 300$ but it would be a shit load easier if i could finance it haha
  11. hey guys i need an alternator for a 2005 ford Ranger 3.0. My voltage drops are getting so bad. The main problem is that i dont have enough money to afford an alternator due to being in college and needing to pay for classes. Ive been to the point where my voltage drops to 12.2V which i know is REALLY bad. and advice on what i should do here -Thanks in Advance Stephen
  12. aucually aero ports are great they work the same as a kerfed port (to eliminate port turbulence) the only difference is that they dont support the box as much as a slot port so you just have to do alittle more bracing
  13. Hey guys i just recently got some vids up of my ride and my system heres a link to my youtube channel feel free to embed the videos cause i have no idea how to . but let me know what you think edit: wow im a tard heres the link : http://www.youtube.com/user/steph3n1
  14. btl's are nice but the aluminum coil HDC3's are really nice too. to be completely honest there are so many brands out there that for the most part have a woofer than can compete with each other so you just have to pick the brand that you like best. DD, FI, RE, RD, DC, AQ, cadence, american bass. Ascendant audio i could go on for a while lol. and Yes those amps would power the btls nicely BUt your going to need more electrical than what you stated above. hope this helped somewhat
  15. just ask someone on here to write you out a good box plan itll only cost you like 10$
  16. yup the lack of airspace inside the cab of the vehicle causes impedance rise and i know i say the plans for that hdc3 of yours definately origami like
  17. haha i know thats why i think there should b a single cab class. i know right 90 degree angles vs weird jacked up boxes that conform to the space we got just so we can get enough volume. not to mention when the windows are rolled up you get insane impedance rise
  18. god building boxes for single cabs is a major PITA haha
  19. yea as of now the woofer is firing into the drivers side seat so therefore the only way id go about inverting it is removing the center console and doing it that way. how much port area would a 3'' areo have? and how would i go about flaring a piece of pvc?
  20. all i could squeeze out was 2.2 cf . but im thinking external aeros but im not sure how id go about doing it considering the flare on a 4'' is 6.75'' and the most i can fit for the top depth on my box is 6''
  21. hey guys i was considering building another box for my ranger because i was informed by a guy on the ca fourms that mine had alot of dead space around the port any ideas for a new enclosure that would eliminate this problem the equipment i am running is in my sig thanks in advance -Stephen
