  1. if brand X has an amp that has 1200 watts on the box but in reality it only does 298.......but is only $39 bucks, that is a GREAT deal for $39 bucks! Why wouldn't brand X just save some dignity and call it a 300 watt amp if it's still a great deal? An amp doesn't need to do twice the rated RMS to get my respect. It just needs to do what it claims. That's it. Seems like a reasonable request right?

I agree to that point. if they make sensational claims like that and fail I would think that their warranty program is suspect also. You would definitely have to go into something like that knowing your going to eat the cost of the amp if it fails.

  2. At four and a half feet above ground it is 5 foot thick. 90 foot tall with a 75.5 foot canopy. To much for me to do as it is above power lines, Cable lines. Major trunks that go above my house and the quad plex in the picture. not to mention that if that part falls it will take out all the lines and transformer, the fence the neighbors vehicles (I did tell them to move their vehicles). The gas stations fence too

  3. So I am just sitting here waiting on this huge hack-berry tree in my back yard to fall. Called about 20 tree services and the earliest I can get on out here is possible next week. Weather forecast has storms every day for like a whole month.

Average estimate to take down this tree is $4000.00

  4. The lady I contacted was Shannon Wilbanks she is with the ad agency Erwin Penland which is responsible for the commercial and hiring actors. I asked her about the Korean war vet in the commercial and she said his last name was Sears. Below is a link to the ad agency.

  5. Steve did you get an answer on this?

I checked in on it and I think someone else did too, dont know if it was you.

This is part of the reply I received.

"While I can’t disclose too many specifics because of privacy reasons, I can tell you the gentleman’s last name is Sears, that he is in Texas, and that he served in the USAF in the early 1950s. Also, I can absolutely confirm that this commercial was shot in early October 2014."
