Ive been pushing an hx too its limits for more than a year and only now its starting too show some breakage. Ive got 2 destroyers though, they seem to be pretty good

I also got a full solar install and ive supported them for years. Dont get me wrong, its an awesome product, its just when something goes wrong.
Maybe we should have a group buy and get some RE woofers or Fi's or sumthin down to sa :^

@richard - the street a setup should be somewhere close too 147 @ 32hz when Im done with it im hoping to get it close to a 149 @ 57 hz. The problem is that one of my solar amps went up in smoke and Riaz denies me my warrenty, he says the amp is over 2 years old, even though my invoice says it was bought last year >
@scort, the box is 50 cm high and 14 inches wide too build the pressure up quicker. But the panda style box should see a 150 of 1500 rms in a months time at finals

they probably mean a sealed box is louder daily than a ported box tuned to 60hz daily

Sheesh man. If I can hit 150 ill be super syked. Im hoping to do 147, but i dont know if ill hit that even. Here hoping. Its going in a 2005 hyundai getz, but some idiot opened the door while I was reversing = bent door joint = no pressure will build up in the car >

Yes richie. Strip everything off first, then lay like 2-3 layers and soak it in resin...Sand it down and use some formula 40 spread over it. Start sanding lol.

i mean the meter matters but it doesnt at the same time. its my daily driver. the class we are in there is no way u could win championships in spl lol. not in bigass vehicles like ours :^ :^

Ok guys, heres the thing.
Im building a street A setup.
Now ive done alot of research on the CRX style box.
But I still need some expert advice from you guys.
Firstlly. Im going to run a 12" solar hx from a solar 1500d (1550wrms)
In my understanding(correct me if im wrong) the sub should face upwards(towards the roof) and the port to the rear ( towards the boot/hatch) right?
Also, should the port be parralel to the sub, or would I get better results if the port is abit more toward the side/away from the sub position(if that makes sence)
Also, should I go for 1 x slot port facing the "trunk", 2 x 6" ports or 1 x 6" port.
Your help would be appreciated.
Also, if anyone has any tips on getting a street A vehicle loud, please chirp in.

that IS a damn impresive score. Im trying to get as much out of a street A setup (1 x 12" + 1 x 1550 wrms amp) as possible.
Its in a hatch, so Im thinking crx style box...What do u guy suggest?
I can do 147 bass boxing with 2 x 12inchers. But ive never worked on a street a setup for pure spl >
Oh ya. Should I rather go slot port facing the "trunk" sub facing up, 2 x 6" ports facing trunk or 1 x 6" port facing the trunk?
