  1. I thought they only had 1000 and 1500 versions?
  2. That can put out 1200-1500 wats rms @ 1 ohm. I'd like to keep it pretty cheap. For comparison I am thinking about the AQ 1200D. That's almost perfect for my situation. Thanks
  3. Ok, thanks for the input. I'm goin to meet this guy in about an hour. Original $50 price still stands. Should I contact Fi through an email, or is there someone on here?
  4. Decided to open photoshop again to use for cars. Blacked out this PT Cruiser. I can take some requests for some simple stuff.
  5. Ok thanks for the quick reply. Do you have a link to team psi? I tried searching google nothing came up.
  6. UMMM OK WOW, this guy is catching on. He took it to a shop and found out everything about it. The shop told him it was 4,800 peak wattage....either they don't know or this is the extreme one. The shop did say it needed a re-cone.......SO does anybody know where I can get a good recone done??? All help appreciated!!
  7. You are correct haha it's a great deal for me, and a retarded deal for him
  8. Well so far my box is lookin like this. I'm open for suggestions tho. lol 17"Hx32"Wx17"D with a slot port 3"Wx15.5"Hx29.5"TL 3.4 cubes @ 32hz
  9. Any box ideas? I have 34" wide to work with. Depth and height aren't a problem.
  10. Nope they cost a shitload of money. If you ever need help hit me up thru PM. Me and a buddy print and sell t shirts here are my designs www.myspace.com/dreamsapparel
  11. Oh btw here is what the guy said of the sub when I asked details about it. Hello, I have tried the subwoofer but only connected to a very low wattage amp and without an enclosure for the subwoofer. It worked, just seemed to move more than actually making sound. Pretty sure this sub still works, correct? I mean from what you can tell.
  12. hahahaha I wasn't trying to be mean btw. I enjoy SQ and 1 one these guys should be enough for a PT for now. Now I just gotta upgrade the big 3 prolly because of the 1200 watt amp.
  13. I already contacted him, we are meeting up in a couple days thats when he is free. I'm not really worried about anyone else grabbing it. It was up for 3 days before I emailed him. Plus no one does car audio here where I live now. I used to live in San Jose.
  14. Well I am having contradicting sources on the wattage of this thing. Anyone know?
  15. Sent an email. If this works 100% its a must buy. Throw 1000+RMS on it should bang in a PT Cruiser lol
  16. http://goldcountry.craigslist.org/ele/1383667227.html Appreciate if you guys could help me figure the brand of that sub. Thanks
  17. I would say 2 18"s. If you get a really good sub the low end will be ridiculous.
  18. I would assume 3 12"s would be louder and maybe even more accurate?? And I was thinkin about getting the AQ1200D amp btw lol
  19. Question is...what kinda sub? It's a PT Cruiser so the port will bounce off the back pretty well and come forward.
  20. I could always add an extra support horizontal to the boxes. Say one coming from the seat to the back of both, or 2 to the top
  21. Yeah I was gonna wait until tomorrow to get the dimensions. I know it's 34" wide not sure bout depth or height. What if instead of 2 boxes of 3 12's sealed, I put 2 boxes of 2 12's ported. I was thinking about toying with the cheap hifonics. http://cardiscountstereos.com/catalog%20pa...uct+%23=HFI12D4 Hifonics HFi 12D4 Subwoofer Size 12" Voice Coil(s) Dual (2 voice coils) Impedance (per voice coil) 4 ohms Peak Power Handling 600 watts RMS Power Handling 300 watts Woofer Surround Rubber Woofer Composition Injection Molded Polypropylene (IMPP) Sealed Box Volume 1.25 - 2.15 cubic feet Ported Box Volume 1.75 - 2.5 cubic feet Sensitivity 88 dB Frequency Response N/A Xmax (millimeters) 11 mm Top Mount Depth 5-3/4" Cutout Diameter N/A Recommended Enclosure Type Sealed or Vented
  22. Haha I get what your saying. So the height problem was a concern of mine...not sure if it would affect it that much I was asking if you could possibly do pre-fab boxes. I would have to know the dimensions of a custom box first. Well you could get some L brackets and bolt the bottom one of then a straight bracket and bolt the top to the bottom one
  23. I remember reading about it a while ago but I forgot the answer. I'm a noob in car audio so please bear with me(most I have ever installed was a 12" 300 watt rms MTX sub in a sealed enclosure in a trunk). So, could you possibly stack(say 2 boxes each having 3 12" subs) on top of each other? I own a 2003 Limited Edition PT Cruiser. Height is not an issue, but depth is. Thanks!
