i backed it off and tried to tighten it again but even the slightest tightening and it picks it back up. its only a very small spot but it seems to be able to function normally. i just dont know if maybe it would let air through and change the sound of something goofy like that. also if i took some super glue or gorilla glue and put a small amount to reseal it would that work or should i just leave it?
honestly it shouldn't really change anything at all. this is on a 6x9 correct? i wouldnt leave it just because i would notice it sticking up all the time lol. you should be fine though. just as long as it didn't shift the coil and it rubs against the motor.

Did you back the screw out and let the surround settle back into place? if it isn't effecting anything then it should be fine. was there any coil rub or, was the cone still able to go up and down smoothly?

Assuming your incredibly bored so you start a pointless thread about links not opening in separate windows, why dont you just use one of the many ways you were given by some of the other members? instead of continuing to argue with everyone when you know that all its going to do is get you a vacation or banned. or you could just not come on this forum and post useless threads, and stay on the other forums that open links in separate windows. so every one is happy.

lmao, i wonder if he has seen this

hows your voltage? you might not need to. if its pretty low, you could just get one big battery to replace your stock one.

oh my damn

lol its all good bro. who hasn't done something like this.

This amp would be killer.... http://www.stetsom.com.br/eng/DetalhesProduto.aspx?c=8110&cat=172
i would suggest one of these per sub. lol
-
you should be fine. just as long as you didn't drive through a very dusty road or anything like that. I wouldn't worry about it.
-
I would just do the front for now, if it will be level with your setup in. if its still higher in the back even with the subs and box in i would also put the rear lowering in. I don't like most cars when the back is lower then the front. If you ever take the system out to sell the car you can put the rear lowering in to level it out. just my .02

Not as expensive as I though. I figured these were like $200 fuckers. Still a bit pricy but nothing insane.
I'm personally a huge fan of Pumas. Comfortable as shit. Had a pair of these since forever: http://www.finishline.com/store/catalog/product.jsp?productId=prod646117
Website says they don't have it in a 13 any more. Might have to special order the next pair =(

wow thanks a lot guys. i snagged some thick aluminum slugs today from a local machinist. but now i have all of these choices. i can get to making some sick bus bars and other things.

onlinemetals.com or find a local metal supplier/fabricator
ok thanks for the quick response. I can machine them myself, i just needed the raw materials.
-
were do you guys buy the copper or aluminum to make your bus bars? I would like to drill them out and put a grub allen head screw in, so i dont have to use 1/0 wire terminals.

no problem, and yes getting an amp for your mids and highs will help a good bit. just check all of your speaker power ratings and go from there. just a nice four channel amp would be good. and tune accordingly to get all of the distortion out.
