Ive always wanted to do like a 90's Nissan single cab truck on some bags. and do a blow through. I would love to see that
-
hell yea thats what i thought
-
i think so. i had four of these in my truck, and one had broken lead wires, and i re soldered them and it was noticeably louder.
-
yea i was wondering if i was able to get a recone kit from a diff brand and get it to work with the audiobahn motor and basket.
-
TOTALLY not worth a recone...buy something else
/thread
lol i assumed that just getting some opinions
-
i have a blown audiobahn sub, am i able to get a recone that matches the specs on the sub and just recone it. or am i gonna have to invest in some new subs. the sub is an audibahn flame compression with a 3 inch dual 2 ohm voice coil
-
i used to have these subs, and the lead wires used to come off sometimes. i would check that.
-
lol yea i bent it back in shape and put it back in. good as new lmao
-
*cough* DD *cough*
2515's
just keep that in the back of your head
ddaudio.com
lol ill take a gander. i rather like DD
-
if it were me i would make sure it wasn't in ur house, and if it wasn't ask ur buddy if he has it. or to look in his car, and if he doesn't have it he shouldn't mind if you looked you know.
-
you should go there and demand your money back....hahaha seriously Id want to see that...
yea no money back from a pawn shop lol. they were only 134 for both, so i was expecting them not to last long
-
Audiobahn flames can be good but they can get hot. Guess its time for some better 15's like Fi or AA for instance.
yea somthin nice. i was lookin at the dc lvl4's so far.
-
damn that sucks, we didnt even get to see magic spl smoke
lol yea i just shut off. i didn't even get to use the fire extinguisher
-
lol theres no way i did all that. i barely have the gain up and the bass boost is off, so whoever had them when i got them form the pawn shop totally f'ed them up
-
heres some pics. this thing was fucked up. i picked them up from a pawn shop, when i had them they were never bottomed out of anything like that, so this thing is bad.
wow
-
well tonight i blew one of my audiopipe flame compression fifteens. it was smelly for a while but no coil rub or anything, so i didn't worry about it. Soooo, what subs do you guys think i should get? i was thinking DC lvl 4's but idk
-
lol nice man looks pretty good. if u end up taking it to the show, ill tune it for you if you want.
-
With a blowthrough then tend to do a lil bit better lol.
yea its a blow through not just behind the seat
-
With your vids with the steering wheel vibrating all over the place and you being able to make a cup float, I would think you are doing a good bit better than a 135.
The only real way to know is to find someone with a Term Lab somewhere.
lol yea the vids contradict the numbers. and yea tomorrow im gonna go around and try to find someone with one.
-
yea i get that, the enclosure is correct,i think its the subs, i got them for temp from a pawn shop, and i have to keep the gain pretty low or they get smelly.
-
yea ive done quite a few setups to at least get close by ear lol. i have it it set moderately low. and btw don't you live in Florida?
-
With 2 15s in a blowthrough off 3k and if you're not doing a 140+ @ dash all sealed up, then there is something wrong.
lol i assumed that. im sure i can get more out of it but i need to set the gains with a scope, and might need to snag some new subs soon.
-
i have no idea. i was gonna go around tomorrow and see. but now i think my subs are about to go. its all good they were temp anyway, gonna order some dc lvl 4's soon.
-
That score sounds pretty jacked... where did you stick the mic? Any doors/windows open? Tone or music?
3000w on 2 15's should be pretty much automatic 140's.
i had to hold the mic in my hand so i moved it around the whole truck. and the windows up was like 135.3-135.4, and about the same windows down. it was on music. I had tried a test sine wave to see what my peak was, but the meter didn't give any other info out besides the decibel #, so i was like wtf.
What mini truck would you go with
