    I know what style I need to get, but my main question is, what color headlight should I get. My headlights are probably 12 years old (maybe not, I dunno) and they're quite dim. I'm tempted to get an HID kit but I'm not sure if they'll just slide right into my car's headlight fixtures.

    Car: 1998 Honda CR-V

    Opinions? Oh...and what brand should I get?

    I drive a 98 Honda CR-V (just thought I'd fill you guys in on what I'm in). I've gotta admit, out of all of the older cars that I have driven, my CR-V has the shittiest lighting out of all of them. Old ass yellow halogens that only let me see 50+ feet in front of me. I'm looking to get HID's but I'm not sure what color to get. I want improved visibility and lighting. The "cool" factor in my mind isn't really that big of a deal. I want as much light as I can get. If there's a hint of blue, cool. I don't want 100& blue or any other color for that matter. I'm looking for the brightest light I can get.

    EDIT: Is it color, or temperature? I know they're measured in Kelvin (correct?), so is it temp or color or both?

    How much do you think they would be happy to run on?

    I can get about 1500w worth of amp @ 4ohm.

    And they can't be too expensive. Killer will be the amp, i think..

    Fully loaded BTL's are 400+ if not nearly 500 bucks. Never got a straight answer on a AA mayhem, so I can tell you one thing is for sure, these subs sure as hell ain't gonna be cheap. I wouldn't be surprised at all if they're in the 600+ range, if not higher. As for an amp, these bitches can take more than 4k a pop (so I have heard/seen on the prototype pic I saw awhile back that's been on here forever).

    Lately, my transmission (ahem...trans-axle), has been rattling at higher revs in 2nd and 3rd gear. If you've ever taken a stick and dragged it across the face of a chain link fence, that's what it sounds like. Has that distinct ping to it. I can't tell if it's bad gas (don't laugh), something's loose, and issue with the trans-axle, or something major is about to happen. I'm planning on getting it checked out when I take it to get it's oil changed and maintenance done sometime next month. Any ideas as to what may be causing this strange noise?

    I'd give you 150 for it if you held onto it until after Christmas. Haha. I just don't have that kind of cash to spare anymore. Already about to put some cash down on some more 4 gauge, terminals, and a battery...maybe even two (one for the front to replace my shit stock one, and one for the back). And then 700+ for the shit I'm planning on getting (see the top line under The Future in my sig).

    Well, I'm getting tired of using my phone to record videos. Not that it doesn't get the job done, I'd just like to get something else to do it's job. I'm looking for a good, quality camera for a relatively low-ish price, that can pick up most bass lines. I'd prefer to stick away from the point-and-shoot digital cameras, and go with dedicated video cams. Any ideas?
